¡Bienvenido a mi casa! Esta es una gran casa con muchas actualizaciones, incluido un plano de planta abierto con electrodomésticos nuevos el año pasado. Best. Rental. Ever. This was our fifth rental in GH and it far surpasses all the others. Fantastic location for walks downtown, impeccable communication, check in was seamless, the kitchen was beyond stocked (almost to a fault, there was little room for food!). The fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs, watching monarchs in the butterfly bush with a cup of coffee, smores, cornhole, and for hosting extended family who were also staying in the area. We even had a decent view of the drone and fireworks shows. I knew I would love this property and it exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Melinda!Only a few minor suggestions, nightlights for interior stairs, reorg kitchen cabinet contents to streamline movement, more backup paper towel.We will be returning for as long as Melinda allows it! :)
Drone and firework shows were slightly obstructed, but visible from the comfort of the deck. Very low fireworks were blocked by the roofline (not many), but otherwise a clear shot of all others.

The blue house

This house is great well well put together. Will not be disappointed in this house clean the backyard is excellent Melinda provides everything very easy to get hold of. The backyard is wonderful. Both homes are great. Are you need to do is bring yourself and food. Melinda provides everything else. Great hostess.

Great house, perfect location

Been staying at this house every summer for several years. Owners recently upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. It’s overall a very nice house. The location is perfect. Couple blocks walk, less than ten minutes, to most everything-downtown Washington St., restaurants, musical fountain, ice cream, etc. state park is 2 miles so gotta drive there. Already booked next year’s stay.

Clean, well stocked home with nice yard

House was clean and well stocked with every day items needed during your stay. Yard was great for our two dogs. Great location close to downtown Grand Haven. Host was easy to reach and quick to respond with any questions we had.

Great getaway

My family enjoyed our stay at this house. It was exactly as advertised. Clearly, Melinda cares about providing good hospitality. The house has had a lot of recent updates and was a good location to walk downtown. Melinda was great.

Great for family of 5 w/ dog

Really great location just a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Washington. Fenced yard was great for our dog. We have three teenaged kids and we all fit easily around the game table and the TV. Lots of nice little touches too like good quality shampoo and wireless chargers on the nightstands.

We stayed at this property for our Family Christmas events this year and it did not disappoint!The house was exactly as described and in the pictures. The house was very clean and had everything that our family could have needed while we were there. We would absolutely reserve this property again for future family get togethers in Grand Haven. Comfortable, clean house

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. Well stocked, and had a wonderful backyard for our beagle to sniff. Not a house for anyone with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep. But we did fine, and enjoyed our stay. We were here for a wedding at Central Park, and it was an easy walk! Thanks for a nice stay!

Wonderfully unexpected

If you are looking for a clean, fully loaded, perfectly located little abode look no further! This home has it all and everything you forgot- inside was clean comfortable for our family of 6 children’s ages 16-15-11-4, the games were a great touch to keep all ages engaged and off their electronics. The beds were all comfortable! The recliner was a hit!! Outside the dogs could run and play fetch, we sat around d the fire I. The evenings roasting snores and laughing. Walking to the lake was easy with the kids and dogs. Our avid runner was able to run for miles and stay entertained. Overall this was a wonderfully unexpected family fall get away! Thank you!

Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time in grand haven thanks to our stay here. The house was clean and so adorable, but it was all of the little touches that made it such a nice weekend. Melinda has really thought of anything you might need. There are chargers by the beds, dog bowls, s’mores supplies, etc. cannot recommend this home enough!

We love staying here! The house is so cute and clean. The fenced in backyard is awesome for our granddaughter and fur babies. We enjoyed the fire pit and spending evenings on the deck. There’s so much do within walking distance!

Another Nice Stay

This was our 3rd year back. We love this house for many reasons - well appointed, super clean and comfortable and great location! Plus, a nice and big backyard for plenty of room for play. Definitely a gem.

Well-Appointed Home in a Great Location

Our family of six was very comfortable in this well-appointed home. We took advantage of all the amenities including the grill, fire pit, storage unit full of beach toys, boardgames, and fully stocked kitchen. The house seemed recently updated and was tastefully decorated. The bedding was comfortable and even the bunk beds had quality mattresses. The host provided a detailed welcome book to help us navigate all the features of the home and set clear expectations for check-out. We also enjoyed being able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Grand Haven!

Nice house, great location, great homeowner

Very nice house. Has all the amenities you’d need. Dogs are welcome so that’s really important to us. Location is excellent…about three+ blocks walk and you’re on the main drag (Washington) for food, shopping, etc. about a mile and a half walk to the pier so we like to do that a lot. Short drive to state park beach. We come here every year and love the house. Homeowner communicates frequently to ensure all is well. Highly recommend.

Family Weekend

The house was fully stocked with all you need, kitchen items, towels, sheets, blankets, and beach gear. Only a short walk to the downtown area and the boardwalk to the beach. Our sweet dogs loved the fenced in back yard too! Perfect place to spend the weekend with my family and our pup’s. Thanks for the great space. :)

I wish I could give it 10 stars!

This is such an amazing upscale rental. The owner responds to messages within minutes. Sooo many wonderful things are provided for you, everything you need for the beach, everything you need to cook a meal (even a rice cooker!!) blue tooth speaker, firewood, I could go on and on. Clean, comfortable beds and furniture, dining seating for 10 (and 10 more if you use outdoor deck!) such a quiet neighborhood and beautiful backyard, completely fenced and secure for pets!! Large driveway that we fit an SUV and another vehicle into easily. We’ve already booked it again for fall!

Grand Haven Winter Getaway

Lovely, clean, completely updated house right downtown for a winter getaway. Everything we needed for our family of 5 - as well as a six month old lab puppy (which was such a privilege to be able to bring with us). Comfortable beds. So close to everything allowing us to walk wherever we needed, including daily morning walks to the pier. Seriously the only concern we had was the staircase - which is to be expected in an older home. People should know to bring slippers with a grippy sole as the stairwell is narrow, curved, and dark painted wood. They were concerning to navigate. If the house were mine, I would put some treads on the edges to prevent slipping. Besides that - everything was lovely and exactly as advertised. Thank you for a wonderful family stay.
