Beautiful place!
Our host was super communicative and gave a us a ton of amazing recommendations. The location is close to everything and was relaxing and clean. Would highly recommend!

Comfortable and quiet cottage
Great communication from Lara and we felt very welcome, the cottage is well maintained and the flowers around the house were beautiful! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything we needed. The house is quiet and the neighborhood is safe and the room-darkening blinds are a plus.

Loved the wine, missed her cookies...just kidding. Hostess stopped by to check up on my "crock pot" question/situation... which I thought was very thoughtful. Beds are very comfortable.Very pretty place & quiet area. Pleasant walking in the neighborhood- along the water & public bench is a plus... we always take a seat here to enjoy the water. Lora puts much love & care into this place. Though I do get concerned for all these wonderful hostsess- like Lora - & a "not so upto par"... hired cleaning services out there. I took few pictures, but picts dont show the true reality of findings. I kinda feel protective of Lora because she is so kind, thoughtful, prompt & really has a wonderful home here. But an undesirable cleaning service... is a negative. I know bc I rely on them to do a good job on properties my boss ownes & I help with cleaning. Can't assume the contracted cleaning service is performing sufficiently. The service must periodically be checked on. And yes, we would stay again. May want to re think the guest policy- cleaning/putting away of dishes etc policy at end of stay. This visit.. we found several food soiled utensils & other dirty kitchenware prior to using. We are known to be pretty laid back -down to earth - work hard for our earned dollar kinda ppl.

Spring Lake House
This house is very clean, updated and well maintained. Owners are great to work with and very helpful as needed. Excellent spot for a boat since you always have the option of the calm waters of Spring Lake/Grand River if Lake Michigan is rough. The dock can accommodate a large or small boat.

Peaceful little cottage on the lake
Had a lovely stay in the cottage. The photos don't do it justice! It's a lovely space with everything provided for a visit to the area. The town of Grand Haven is just down the road, a quick 5 minute drive.

Clean and comfortable!
The cottage was perfect for a girls weekend with 2 adults and 2 kids. Great neighborhood for walking, close to kayaking, beaches, restaurants, lighthouses and great downtown shopping in Grand Haven and Muskegon. It was great to meet Lora and very appreciative for the Michigan wine!

The shower was RIDICULOUS. As in ridiculously small and inadequate. Anyone with any height or weight might get stuck inside it, in fact. There were no instructions on how to operate the TV/streaming, and none on how to operate the air conditioning/heating system. Little things matter, and the owners need to pay more attention to the little things to make a stay exceptional.

It was so convenient to the water, beautiful scenery we use to live in the area. We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice owner, came over to introduce herself. No owner has ever done that. Was very personable.

The beds were very comfortable and clean so we got great rest while traveling! We felt very safe in the neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around by the water and looking at the waterfront homes there. We loved being able to walk with our three kiddos to a nearby playground. The hosts left a bottle of wine & some local cookies as a welcome. The hosts communicated back quickly about the water from the fridge being safe to drink. The laundry was quite squeaky (door could be shut to dampen sound) and the linens were scarce— few towels for our larger family and no extra sheets provided. We weren’t able to find extra toilet paper or paper towels so we grabbed some while we were out. Parking is a tight for a larger vehicle but it is off street. Thanks for the hospitality!!
