“Stayed here on our way from Melbourne to Sydney. When I arrived the room I was given had a bed that was not made up. The managers apologised and I was changed to a different room. Perhaps in future they could check the rooms AFTER the maid has said they had been done. Then in the new room the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night, for no reason. I suggested that they check the battery which can cause this problem, so hopefully no-one else gets an unwelcome wakeup call in the middle of...

“Requires updating, very dated and dingy. Unfortuately road noise can't be avoided, but consideration needs to be given to noise reduction. The ear plugs are a nice touch, but gosh, probably the worst park I've stayed in. Cabin was old, damaged and dirty.”

“We stayed in the Miners Room 1. It was really good, I’d stay there again. The bath tub under the shower is weird and probably doesn’t need to be there… The wall between the 2 rooms is brick but sounds like it’s paper so hopefully your neighbours go to sleep the same time as you. The are only teaspoons available so if you take food and you need a knife or fork make sure to take them. I’d definitely stay again though. For the price it’s comfortable. ”

“The manager was definitely out there but he was so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us even when he had so much to do. Lovely olde world property. The only criticism I have is the car park has small spots and it seems that people from a nearby business are using it therefore sometimes the carpark was full.”

“Its a really nice motel to stay at. The place was really clean, staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable about where to go and what you can do in beechworth. This place is an ideal place to stay in summer but i reckon it would be the same in winter too”
