Well-appointed property in beautiful, remote location
The place is beautiful, clean, well-appointed (had everything we needed plus a surprise air hockey table that made my son so happy!). The views were amazing!! It should be noted that it is very remote and there are really no restaurants or grocery stores within 30 minutes of the property. Luckily, we had brought everything we needed but wanted a quick meal out one day and that wasn’t possible. Also, be sure to get gas as gas stations are far away.
The property, owner, cleanliness was top notch but I likely won’t rent through Vacasa again. After we had left our home, we received a message from Vacasa that we couldn’t check in until 6 pm with no explanation. It was only a 2 night stay and not somewhere we wanted to check into that late. We subsequently received a text from Vacasa saying our property was ready early (at noon) and we could check-in whenever we wanted but at this point we were at our alternate activity. We cut out activity short and headed to the property at 3 (an hour before regular check in) only to find the cleaning crew there and the property not ready. Then, the same day we got a text from Vacasa saying we would be charged for staying past check out time (on the day we checked in). I wasted too much of my vacation calling and texting Vacasa. The owner of this lovely home in a beautiful location should find a new property manager.
