Bed and pillows were comfortable, airconditioner worked well, table and chairswere a pleasant surprise.plenty of hot water.tea and coffee and buscuits supplied.nice and close to Mudgee CBD.

What a charming motel, constructed in the 70s or 80s, (I only know that because an old friend (who happened to be in town for some reason as me) told me he was instrumental in design and construction. Yet the managers have kept pace with upgrades and our stay was delightful, will certainly be back

Great location and easy to walk to the pub for dinner. It was fairly expensive for the age of the property. Beds, Towels and decor could use an upgrade

a very convenient motel, i stayed 3 nights, never moved the car once, walked and cycled everywhere, Coles next door but u would not know, pub across the road, brewery around the corner, good value , the mattresses could do with a refresh otherwise all good.

Adequate but not brilliant
The Ningana Motel was well located near the main street of town and just about next to a Coles Supermarket. Close to pubs and restaurants and easy to get into and out of town if visiting sights and wineries. Our main quibble is about the standard of the airconditioner. It is an old style wall system with the fan included, rather than a split system with the fan and condenser outside. The unit was noisy and we couldn't leave it on at night, when the nights were cold. It would be unbearable in summer. We felt this motel was not good value for money, and it was about 25% more expensive than other 3* motels which had better facilities in the room. For example, apart from the a/c, there was a hand basin in the kitchenette area (none in the bathroom), and a shower curtain rather than glass. It is due for an upgrade, particularly for the price charged. But then, Mudgee is popular and thus more expensive than other places.

walking distance to town center & local pubs. Very handy for travelers. Nice & Clean & has everything needed for short stay. Didn't like that other guests take your parking bay when it's clearly numbered.

Location was excellent and the only thing worth staying here for. The room was rather cramped and uncomfortable. Bathroom was dingy - may have been clean but hard to tell given the worn appearance. Minimal facilities provided eg kettle and microwave but no bowls or cutlery or anything which made things awkward. Okay but not at the extremely high price we were charged.

Great motel in a great location
We had a great stay! Super clean, the bed was super comfy and the shower pressure was excellent - what more do you need?! Also a in the middle of town so easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shopping.
