Holpp's Pine Ridge Lake

Pequeña cabaña dejando a un lado un lago privado de 185 acres. La cabaña se encuentra a solo unos metros del borde de las aguas, donde puede disfrutar de un día pescando o nadando en el lago. Hay una hoguera y una parrilla de carbón en el patio para esas noches frías, un columpio / planeador en el porche para sentarse y relajarse y disfrutar del paisaje. La cabina viene completamente amueblada con ropa de cama y utensilios de cocina. Se admiten mascotas con un cargo adicional y limitado a no más de 2.

Perfect
We booked this property after our Christmas plans changed suddenly and we had to travel The lake was beautiful and since it’s the middle of winter, we had the whole place to ourselves. The cabin was cozy but big enough to cook and serve Christmas dinner to our family. We would love to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can take advantage of all the lake has to offer.

Quiet and peaceful
We stayed here over Thanksgiving; we enjoyed the view of the lake and walking our dog around the lake. The cabin is part of a campground on the lake so in the warmer months the lake will be a bit busier but this time of year it was very quiet. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable! There was a little portable electric fireplace that I used most of the time, which added a lot of ambiance. The location is about 20 minutes to Crossville and 30 minutes to Cookeville. Monterey was close by, about 10 minutes and seemed like a really cute town. Definitely recommend this.

Nice cabin on the lake, good for families
Very nice cabin on the lake. Very peaceful. We got there before the Fourth of July crowds so the grounds became a little more populated toward the end of our stay but nothing that would ruin anyone's enjoyment. Overall, it was a fun stay. I like the fact that they have added wifi to the cabins. The only extremely minor drawback was with a family of four we were constantly running out of utensils. It was easy enough to just hand wash them but it was an everyday thing with forks. Next time we will be prepared and bring our own plasticware. But overall, it was terrific. We have been to this cabin several times and we would not hesitate to go back!

Girl trip
This little cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and the scenery was gorgeous. It’s was very quiet while we were there. My brain needed to hear those whipperwhills again along with the crickets…lol. Cabin was spotless and clean. Had all you needed for a getaway. Absolutely loved it. Hope to back again…this was our 2nd stay.

Being watched! 😳
The cabin itself was decent, but i took a shower and when i got out the mirror was steamed up and you could see where someone had wrote on the mirror ( I see you sleeping this place is cool. So needless to say my husband spent quite a bit of time searching the cabin for cameras. SO NOT COOL!! we will not be staying there again. So if you chose to stay there be aware of this.

WONDERFUL FAMILY GETAWAY!
This was our first visit to this hidden gem. We are allready trying to plan another trip. We took 4 grandchildren ages 6 and 7. They loved everything about the trip and so did we. The beach was great and the water is so clean and clear. This is all family owned and operated and it shows. Quaint, quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the Muddy Pond community also. I just can’t say enough. Everything was just perfect and how we wanted to spend Soring Break with the grands. We made so many memories and we were all sad to leave. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the outdoors and get those kids off of their devices (Wifi worked great but everyone wanted to be outdoors). Thanks to Dennis and family for sharing this piece of heaven.

Good time
Cabin was nice. Grounds were not so nice. Grass high and nasty mudd in parking area ruining a $75.00 pair of shoes. We had a nice stay overall.

Family time
We have stayed at the cabin/lake multiple times in the past and enjoy everything there; from setting on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee to fishing, swimming, floating or just roasting hotdogs over the fire. If you want to just relax and unwind this is the place to be.

Easy to rent. Would have liked to have key instructions before arriving. Dennis was quick to answer our question about how to enter the cabin. That was nice to get that info so quickly.

Anniversary Getaway
We loved the cabin and the pond and the ducks! It was a perfect place for our 20th anniversary getaway 💕. Our friends who live in Cookeville brought food from Persis Indian Restaurant that was delicious!

Scenery is beautiful ❤️
When my husband was alive we stayed here. We loved the setting. It's also close to family we visit. The two bedroom is perfect because if the family comes to visit us for the day my husband could lay down and the little ones could as well. The driveway definitely needs help. Problems we saw then were, no ramp or sidewalk, no handrail or grabrail for getting in or out of shower/tub. No area rug floor very cold. Probably feels great in the summer. Nice to have wifi, tv worked for videos, a little in and out on the YouTube and Tubi. Plenty of hot water. Bed and furniture comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
