“This property was not only ideally located for visiting the Gorge, it was immaculate and extremely well stocked. It seemed as if the owners tried to supply everything their guests might need. We especially appreciated all the labels on the cabinets - both for finding things and for putting them back - and all the provided plug-ins for electronics. And the view was lovely. “My 83 year old mom is visiting. This is a perfect place. The vibe is cozy, safe, and super chill. The vaulted ceilings and skylights added to the "retreat" feel my mom kept commenting on. The bathroom is accessible with zero thresholds and plenty of support bars for my mom to feel secure. The listing is accurate, however, I think underrepresents what a wonderfully, sweet place this is. Better than expected in all the ways. Thank you, Diane, we will definitely be staying here again. ”

The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more, but if we had needed anything she would be right there. She has poured so much love and beauty into her place, comfortable in every way. “It was a great retreat for hardworking women who needed a beautiful setting, all sorts of pampering and a chance to unwind in God's beautiful surroundings! We came prepared to make a fire, but were so well taken care of, we just left the wood behind for the next inhabitants. I hope they enjoyed it! A few things we thought could make the stay even better: Scrubber pads for scrubbing the pans (sponges just don't cut it - though they were new and fresh!), Aluminum foil (for keeping baking clean),...

The age of the property was apparent in the wavy floors and drafty windows, but provided heaters kept us toasty, and the cozy charm was enhanced by the periodic rumble of the passing trains nearby. Overall, a convenient and cozy stay!”
