“Wonderful property. Convenient drive to the beach and very secluded 11 miles up the beach. Loved the garage- could pull our jeep right into the garage with the doors off without worry. “We loved our stay here. The home was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. Check in/out was easy. The surrounding property is lush and private. Very family and dog friendly. 4x4 is of course a must, as it’s a hike from the pavement down the beach. Grocery/food options are nonexistent nearby but the seclusion is what makes this area special.”

Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. “Our stay was outstanding! Thank you so much for the very prompt responses to my questions and the overall hospitality! The home was clean, well decorated and fully stocked. The location directly on the beach can’t be beat! The beautiful new pool was an added touch. My only suggestion would be to add a little bit of shade to the pool area or back deck. It’s nice to come back from the beach and find a little reprieve from the sun. All in all, 5 stars and we plan on trying to come back!”

“What a great place for our maiden voyage to the Outer Banks! The house was so spacious, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone and then some. We did a lot of cooking because my daughter has a food allergy, kitchen was easy to work in and well appointed. The house is just a two minute walk to a great beach, but the pool was the big hit for the kids. We don’t have a pool when my kids are water babies, so that was pretty incredible.
