Quiet and peaceful Cabin
The cabin location is beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful view and peacefulness. It is difficult to get up and down to the water from the cabin but we still made the trek and got to laugh at each other in the process. The only complaint we have is that the master bedroom mattress is very uncomfortable and did not make for a good nights sleep.

Perfect Retreat
This cabin provided the perfect retreat for our family post Christmas. The river view was beautiful and location in proximity to Mirror Lake/Blanchard Falls as well as Mountain View was perfect.

Lovely stay at cozy cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this cozy cabin in a quiet area in Mountain View on the beautiful White River. The property managers were friendly, and quick to send trustworthy help when the pilot light went out in the fireplace. The neighbors were so kind and generous bringing by hot cocoa, extra fire starters, and chopping smaller pieces of fire wood for our fire pit evenings. The restaurants and shops in town were perfect, as were the outdoor activities located near by which included Blanchard Springs Waterfall and trail, Mirror Lake and waterfall, Gunner Pool trail along the creek and cliffs, and Calico Rock Overlook Point. We had a wonderful stay, have already shared pictures and recommendations with our friends and family, and hope to return for another visit!

Peaceful little cabin
Property was adorable. Decorated so nice! Great deck to watch the river roll by. Peaceful area. In a great location for seeing Blanchard Springs and Mountain View. King size bed is very firm. Great places to dine are pretty close.

Perfect cabin on the White River
Overall we really enjoyed our stay!! Perfect for our family of four and 2 furbabies. The cabin is located in a quiet retirement community right on the White River. The location was perfect! The house was very clean and was stocked well with all the essentials. Communication was excellent with the host. We enjoyed all of the outdoor space on the deck overlooking the White River and the firepit. We will for sure be back! One thing to note is that the property is located close to a train and you can hear it go by a couple times late in the evenings.

Nice property
This property was ideal for what we needed. We travel with our dog and the house and property had ample space for her to roam around (under supervision). Covered parking was available. Close to Mountain View to go into town and eat/listen to music and still make it back before too dark. We spent a lot of time in the Blanchard Springs Rec area. The drive there and back was not bad. Very peaceful place to come back to and relax after hiking, fishing, shopping.

Excellent Stay
This was our second time staying at the lodge-ette. It’s a beautiful area and close enough to town. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable as well as the furniture. Perfect size for our family and pets.

The home is beautiful & clean. Plenty of space for the 3 of us that went. The only disappointment was that the neighbors are a lot closer than it looked in the pictures. Still a quiet, peaceful stay though.

Great cabin and river view!
I will definitely stay here again! It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Only issue we had was with the shower. It worked, but the knobs didn't quite work properly. Hard to turn shower off. Other than that minor issue, it was perfect!

Much more than expected
We were so thrilled when we opened the door to this small cabin, to see a spacious, well decorated, spotless space to spend a few days. It is so much more than described. Love the riverfront, quiet, scenic location. Thank you for the perfect spot.

Birdwatchers Delight
We came to the area for sightseeing, fishing and trails, which were great. To my delight we were in the middle of an amateur birdwatcher's heaven. I spotted at least 15 different kinds of birds, the biggest being an Eagle that landed about 20 feet from us, grabbed his breakfast and flew off. There was nothing more peaceful than having my morning coffe on the deck above the river. I will definitely be back!!

Wonderful River View Stay
We were relaxed the minute we opened the door. Large kitchen and living area. Plenty of cozy chairs and sofa. Loved the long wooden table with the short bench chairs for each person. Loved all the cabin decorations. The beds were comfy. Nice large bathroom with almost new washer and dryer. The outside deck over the river was perfect for our early morning coffee. Plus, we made smores with our 12 year old grandson. He enjoyed the cabin as much as we did. The next time we bring a grandchild to canoe, fish, and to tour Blanchard Spring Caverns. This is definitely where we will stay.
