Perfect Maine Stay
We booked the house to celebrate the holidays with family from Maine. The house was perfect! Super clean, fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed and the right amount ofspace for 4 adults and two pre teens. The space was cozy and gave us the quintessential Maine LakE house vibe we Desired. The owners communication was amazing throughput the entire stay and after. We will surely rebook again, and again!

Minihonk Lake
We had a wonderful time in this cabin by the lake. Was well appointed and centrally located for our needs. Very quiet road and beautiful view of the lake. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Is about 35 minutes to Augusta and an hour and a half to Portland. Can highly recommend this VRBO.

Clean, quiet, well situated, picturesque. To enter there are 15 or so New England style steps to an upper landing. To go between levels, another interior set of the same. The weather on our trip was cool and rainy so we were not able to truly enjoy the spacious deck or the fire pit. The lake is crystal clear, the view from the deck and dock are a photographers delight. The best of rural Maine. Casting a gold spoon from the dock I caught a very nice trout, a few 12 inch small mouth black bass and even a small northern pike. All around sunset. For a quiet retreat in a welcoming space, cannot do much better.

Wonderful Memories on the Lake
We were introduced to the Belgrade Lakes 15 years ago when our daughter went to summer camp in the area. We've been going back ever since because of all the incredible Mainers we met over the years and because Maine really is its own kind of vacationland. The Guest House where we had stayed closed and we always wanted to rent our own place to continue visiting and to share with family and friends. This lake house was absolutely perfect for us. It was exceptionally clean upon arrival, all around it was a very comfortable living space, and important to us for hosting, the kitchen was well stocked with just about everything we needed. The Wifi was no problem for remote work. We never tired of the lake view and took full advantage of the kayaks and docks, as well as the campfire. Janice was super prompt in thoughtfully responding to any questions I had both before and after our arrival. Although "Scapes" the nearby cafe has deservingly become somewhat of a destination, the house is off the beaten path of the more touristy coast, so be sure to define what you want your stay to be. For us, the house was everything we wanted - and then more.

Great property for staying and swimming
Absolutely perfect stay here. The property is very well cared for and has any amenities you would want. Even the lower deck is well thought out to protect from the rain and sun...but you can still be outside to watch the storms. The way we vacation, the property is everything for us...we don't want to leave or go anywhere. THIS was the one for us. The water is very swimable, and our kids loved the floating dock, they were on it all day. Neighbors were a bit loud on a weekend day...but during the week, the whole area was really peaceful and enjoyable.

Lovely lake getaway!
Lovely and very comfortable house on a wonderful lake for swimming! Very quiet at night despite the road on the other side of the lake. You could hear the cars passing by during the day but otherwise the house and the whole area are pretty remote from everything. There is a nice coffee place 12 minutes away and otherwise a nice restaurant 20 minutes away but otherwise nothing. For supermarkets and groceries you need to drive to Augusta or plan your meals ahead. We did a few nice hikes in the mountains and forests around. Overall a very relaxing week!!

Great Vacation
One of the nicest vacation rentals we've stayed at locally. Beautifully renovated home that is comfortable and nicely decorated.Owners were extremely responsive and communication was great throughout process. Home was fully equipped with everything we needed and then some. Only heads up - 2 sets of stairs one outside to enter house and one inside to lower level, each about 15 steps. Level property, good swimming, fishing, kayaking on small quiet lake. Incredible view from house. Couldn't have asked for a better property to spend the week with my adult children and spouse. Thank you Janice and Jeremy!

Perfect set-up
From start to finish our stay at your property was perfect! Communication was easy and helpful and your home is beautifully decorated. The layout is perfect for a group of friends. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived and the instructions for when we left were easy to follow. The waterfront looks amazing-unfortunately due to the rain we didn't get to enjoy it. Thank you again for hosting us and we hope to visit again soon.

Peaceful Lake Retreat
We spent a lovely long weekend in this beautiful spot on the lake. Even with snow outside it was cozy and comfy and the perfect spot to relax between our Maine adventures. The hosts were great about keeping us up to date on weather conditions and other updates. Would highly recommend!
