An amazing property!

Cozy cabin
The cabin was family friendly and had lots of extra comfort items. The stove was perfect for a winter evening! The children loved the streams and foot bridges. Beds were comfy. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic rustic historical cabin
I can’t say enough good things about this property. I wish I had had more than one night to stay! I’m from Va but now live in the Pac NW and this was a great coming home to my roots feel. I loved the plethora of wild birds I woke up to, and the giant (cherry?) tree out back. Would definitely stay again!

Great cozy stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at this unique property! The cabin was so clean and inviting! We enjoyed the vinyl records, the DVD collection, the fire pit, and the coffee and hot cocoa station! It was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. We would definitely recommend this property!

Lovely Cabin
We booked this cabin as a stop on our relation to Maine. The cabin was a perfect stop. The property was gorgeous. It housed four adults and three cats nicely. The water pressure was great. The driveway was big enough to park a 26' and a 16 foot moving truck plus a pickup truck with trailer and a car. The host was great about responding to questions and so helpful

Excellent Getaway
We had a blast the one night we got to stay here. Rebecca was always very communicative and we had everything that we needed. The view, amenities, and seclusion were just great. I only make 2 comments on a minor note. The stairs up to bedrooms are open, and that means that our infant could technically crawl through to the ledge downstairs. We used a baby gate to block the staircase and just hung out with her, so it wasn't a problem, but it meant she couldn't crawl freely from living room to kitchen. Very minor. The only other element was that the listing said "Available in the cabin: WiFi" and the guest book stated clearly when we got there that there was no WiFi in the cabin. It was not a deal breaker for us as getaways like this are a great break from being connected, but the host might want to update the page.

Going to stay again!
This was our second time staying at this neat cabin in the woods. It's going to be our regular overnight stay on our way to the beach. It has all the comforts of home and for a family of our size, cheaper than a hotel - and infinatly more relaxing!

Beautiful cabin and views
My family and I loved the cabin and the gorgeous backyard! The cabin was very comfortable, with lots of movies and a few books, coffee, tea, dishes, a lot of extra bedding and bath towels. The backyard and surrounding area is heavily wooded, so we were able to enjoy listening to the birds and even saw several deer and a black bear. The walk to the river is a very short distance from the cabin; had the weather been warmer, we definitely would've gotten in the water. Overall a great experience, and Rebecca made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything without being obtrusive at all. Would highly recommend!

Delightful Cozy Cabin
The house was very well stocked, even provided items for Smores. The home was comfortable for 5 elderly ladies, being careful on the open stairs. Everything worked as expected, nice large TV for viewing the Derby. Rain kept us from using the fire pit but sitting under the extended front roof was delightful.

Night at the theater
This cabin was an ideal booking for my partner and me to meet up with my parents so we could attend a play together at the American Shakespeare Center. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to properly enjoy all the location had to offer, especially the sweet deck and yard. We did cook and eat dinner and breakfast there together, and the kitchen was great! The only drawback was that the twin beds were not very comfortable for my older parents. It seems this cabin would be perfect for just one pair of intimate adults, with plenty of options for kids or younger adults.

Fantastic Cabin!!
We loved everything about our stay. So many extra touches that made a difference. We had everything we needed. Played games, Atari, used the record player, loved the decor, and had plenty of towels, blankets, kitchenware, etc. Bed were comfortable. My son goes to JMU and we live 4 & 1/2 hours away. We will definitely book this cabin again for our visits. Thank you!

This property was perfect for us! We loved the rustic and cozy cabin charm. Simple yet filled with everything you need! A beautiful out of the way setting but also close to many restaurants and entertainment venues and sightseeing. We will definitely be back for another weekend get away!
