“This property was overall good. It had an updated kitchen, a private hot tub and a new tub. Beds were comfy, TVs had plenty of entertainment and appliance overall cleanness was good. However the cleanliness of the home was hit and miss. Some areas were pretty spotless like the bathroom, while other areas like the pull out couch were full of crumbs. “Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!”

“The cabin was very nice. The only drawback was that there was no dining table. My husband and I brought a lot of board games because the weather was supposed to be bad, but weren’t really able to play any. Other than that the communication with the owner was great. The hiking trails are more than adequately marked which was great. What I wasn’t aware of was the hobbit house is also on the property and not far from the treehouse. “The cabin was easy to find based on the directions given and photos of the cabin. It was very clean inside and pretty spacious in the main bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The firepit was very nice and so was the hot tub. Overall perfect for what we needed. The price for one night was a little steep for a cabin in a remote area in my opinion even though everything was great, that is the only reason for four stars instead of five! ”

“This cabin was just as advertised. The road in is a bit steep, but the property itself is absolutely gorgeous, remote, and private - just what i was looking for. Despite the sense of isolation, food and basic necessities for a short stay are only a few miles away. Wifi connectivity was excellent, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the fire place made for a perfect rustic feel. My favorite part of my stay was the nearby ponds on the property and the chorus of wood frogs and spring peepers...

The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy.
