Big Time in a Tiny Space
Such a great little cabin. All the necessities were taken care of. Being able to bring our pup was icing on the cake! We enjoyed the fire pit, just cool enough to build a small fire in the evenings. The space is well planned and worked great for the two of us. We didn’t use the loft. The front porch and rockers were perfect for morning coffee. I will recommend this place to friends that go to the Blue Ridge area.

Quiet and Relaxing
The cabin sits on approximately 3 acres of land and during my search for our vacation spot, that, and the fact that there is a trail that leads to a beautiful little creek, was a big selling point. I'm a biologist that enjoys observing a variety of plants and animals, which we saw lots. The cabin was just the right size for my wife and I. The hosts provided a notebook with instructions for accessing the wifi and TV that was very helpful. But we never turned even turned the TV on because we like to "unplug" on our vacations. We spent a lot of our time sitting in comfortable rocking chairs on the porch and relaxing. We will certainly consider a return trip for our next trip to north Georgia.

Not great for summer
The cabin was clean and adorable. However, the difficulty we had was that because it was summer and heat rises, the loft was unbearably hot, even when we tried to crank down the AC. There is a heater up there for winter, so I think the cabin would be great that time of the year, but beware of the summer.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin with granddaughter HOWEVER I do have to share our negative experiences because it involves safety concerns so please be careful when staying at this cabin until attention has been brought to the following. Most importantly is the safety issue, the hot water heater is NOT set to a safe temperature and actually burned my hands at the kitchen sink and my husband in the shower. Additionally, The cabin is not kept very well clean: Cobwebs hanging over the bed, in all corners and I have to mention that cockroaches are present! I know it’s the woods, we live in the woods, and these were not palmetto bugs, actual German roaches . Sadly, TWICE I hit my head on the carport roof walking away from the fire pit because it’s TOO LOW, not safe at all for anyone of height when walking from the fire pit to cabin. Lastly, the screen doors both(rear/front) are missing screen therefore unable to actually be used as the bugs come right in. Nice cabin and would only recommend this place if they did some general safety maintenance, pest control & actual cleaning. The trail nearby was enjoyable and we loved sitting on the front patio in the quiet. Best regards

27th birthday trip
Cozy, clean, and comfortable! Super peaceful and quiet and only 15 minutes from downtown blue ridge and just minutes away from lake nottely. My husband and I along with our dog were extremely comfortable here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Not what we were looking for
This property would likely be best for those who aren’t planning on spending much time at their cabin. My boyfriend and I rented this place for a week, planning to go on a few hikes, but mostly staying at our cabin. It was just a few feet longer than our car, and the pictures gave me the impression that there were more beds than there are. The floors were a bit dirty, every usable surface was covered in decorations, the dining table is small, and everything just felt a bit off. The fire pit is also quite uneven, to the point you have to set all the chairs at the top of the slope, or else you’ll probably fall. We decided we’d have a nicer time at home and left the day after we arrived. My fault for not investigating this place a bit more, but quite disappointing none the less.
