While the place was beautiful...we tried several times during our stay to communicate with management the efforts were for naught.The hot tub was ice coldTha tvs didn't work properly and there were light problems in the bathroom.

Don’t rent this property
Every year my family and friends travel to Blue Ridge and we always have a great time and have never had issues with any of the cabins until this one. All the towels and bedding was dirty we had to wash it all on arrival, there was dog hair and pee stains on the upstairs sheets, the owners closet where they directed us to get extra sheets was a disaster everything was balled up on the floor dirty, not to mention two random bottles of prescription pills just there. The game room they advertised can’t be used, there’s no heat in there and it smelled like mold. To top it all off the hot water heater wasn’t working and we had to keep manually turning it on in order to get hot water..I reached out to the host to receive compensation for all the issues that their own maintenance crew verified and they decided tolow ball us instead of making things right, I also requested a call from the owner and never received one…

The pictures in the listing make the house look better than it is. Description said 6 bedrooms with at least a queen bed in all but a bunk room, could sleep 20 people. Google map looked somewhat private with plenty of parking. It had all of the amenities we were looking for. We got to the cabin and first issue was the cabin is super close to several other houses. The parking wasnt what it was in the pictures either. We had some issues getting in but a quick call foxed that. The cabin only has 4 bedrooms, a king on the main floor, two bedrooms upstairs which were full beds, and a bedroom on the lower level which which was a twin over full bunk bed. In the loft area upstairs, there was two large bean bags. There was also two twin hideaway beds, both of which were broken. The house had several tvs, one of which worked, only when we logged into our hulu account. We came to Blue Ridge to watch the SEC championship game. We had to go buy a tv to watch it on. The garage game room was a big part of why we picked this house. It was a disappointment. The bathroom was not hooked up to water so none of it worked. It didnt have heat which was a huge dissapointment. The air hockey table didnt work. The small arcade games upstairs did not have power cords. The projector wasnt hooked up.If we could go back in time and book this vacation over again, we would not pick this house. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Would not Recommend
This cabin had the potential to be a 5 star experience. Unfortunately, the home had many issues. My first issue was lack of cleaning supplies. There are literally ZERO things to clean with. When I messaged the host about this, they stated they do not supply cleaning supplies… the cleaners would “take care of it.” I’m not sure how they expect us to cook in the cabin without any supplies to clean up with afterward. Imagine cracking an egg, spilling some on the counter and having ZERO way to clean it properly. They did say there was a broom if I wanted to sweep. Secondly, almost none of the things mentioned worked - the air hockey table, projector for the “movie theater” & the hot tub are just a FEW of the things that were not working. Many things also broke while we were there by no fault of our own. The pictures also show kids arcade games which were put up in the garage and not working. My son was very excited about this because it was pictured. Unfortunately, it was falsely advertised as were most of the things in this listing. We chose the cabin because it slept the amount of people we needed. However, I would not recommend this cabin unless you will be out most of the time and do not plan on cooking.

Very peaceful and beautiful area
The house was amazing when arriving, very easy to access as well. The area was very quiet and there was plenty of space for us to sleep comfortably. I had a great time and so did my friends. My favorite part was the game room as well as the pond at the bottom of the hill where we caught lots of fish.

Enjoyable stay
Liked the place, location, house amenities. Loved the game room. Only reason not giving a 5 star is there were few things needs repair. Several light bulbs were out, one kitchen cabinet door kept coming off, the fire pit on the deck didn’t work, hot tub water temperature was too low for use we couldn’t get the temperature to rise even after setting the thermostat up. Check the towel racks and toilet paper holders and tighten the set screws.

Very Disappointing
Numerous issues that were not corrected by mgmt. We arrived at the property to find out they didn't provide the correct entry code. We were surprised to find the cleaning team still there, but to our luck they were able to let us in since we didn't have the correct access code. I sent an email an hour after we arrived to the mgmt with a list of things that weren't working, weren't provided, including the access code. Did not hear from anyone until 24 hours later. They weren't responding to my email, but rather asking for a 5-star rating. Very poor communication by mgmt, items were not stocked and/or not working. We had to drive into town to fill the propane tank as the tanks at the cabin were empty. Didn't receive a reimbursement until more than one month later, after multiple inquiries that went unanswered. We rented this cabin for all the extras that were advertise such as the game room, video game, batteries not working, pool table, etc. most of which weren't working. I've stayed at 5-star properties, and this was not one of them. We spent more time chasing mgmt to get answers or things fixed. Accommodations were fine, but when you pay as much for the advertised "extras" I don't expect to spend time trying to find, fix, or replace items for the cabin. It should be ready for guests and turn-key. It was not. Very disappointing and would not recommend or stay again.

Nice house but not good experience
Overall the house was okay. But the experience and communication with the host was horrible. Because she barely replied and when she did she wasn’t helpful. Also the description online is incorrect; it’s not a five bedroom, but four. There are not the same amount of beds as in the description—you need to inflate the inflatable beds and bring them from the closet, to your room. The worst part was the hot tub, which didn’t work at all, and when I asked her to help, she just sent me a YouTube video on how to increase the temperature. When I told her there was an error on the screen, she stopped replying. Also, a lot of small thing in the house are broken—for example, some door knobs were missing, the ping pong rackets were broken (we bought our own and left them for them). Windows were dusty enough to dust up the house. Also when we came the trash containers were full from the previous tenants and we had to store our trash in the garage/game room to keep wild animals away. Overall, not a bad house, but be ready for all these surprises and a non communicative host.

Birthday Celebration
The property is spacious and gorgeous. All the guests had a beautiful time. The children had an amazing time lots of game choices on the lower level, did not get a chance to go into other game room. Hot tub large and clean. Network was in and out , not able to log into. Lots to do at the property, grounds kept clean and comfy outdoors. Definitely recommend this place for ones next getaway with family and friends. Property is well kept, beautiful drive into the compound.

The House was as published and the Christmas tree was beautiful, The grandkids said this was the best Christmas. However, upon arrival the cleaning crew was still cleaning; no toilet paper in bathrooms; the biggest issue was the unattached game room - it had not been cleaned (the cleaning crew said they don't do that room). Of the things needing resolution all were addressed except cleaning the game room. We'd go there again!

Family Vacation
Our family enjoyed staying at this house! It was very comfortable, clean, and had activities for all ages. The property managers were friendly and professional, quick to resolve issues, and thoughtful and kind to our needs as a family. We would recommend families stay here, and hope that maybe we can return as well!
