“We had a great stay in the Cotswolds. There is such a lot to do in this area. The house in Moreton-in-Marsh was in a great location, although on a busy road. There was only one parking space so this was quite inconvenient. The house had spacious bedrooms but not such roomy reception rooms. The house showed some wear and tear and was fitted in a basic way. However, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay and our whole family enjoyed our stay.”

“I liked the bedroom with mini fridge tea/coffee making items. I liked the large shower and the fact it was quiet and warm. I didnt like small cups i think mugs would be better. The extractor fan in bathroom didnt work, there is a little mold around the shower tray. The bathroom floor needs grouting in parts. The garden is a big eyesore full of weeds etc not useable for anyone staying. The whole property was spotlessly clean. I had no english tea bags in my room but found some in the kitchen...

Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. “The purpose of our stay was for my elderly parents to have a small break and I chose this property as being suitable for their needs. Our expectations were definitely fulfilled. It is beautiful property in a pretty setting. Highlights for us was that being all on one level was easy for my elderly parents. “Very central to various places in the Cotswolds but such a joy to return to and to get up in each morning. Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. “Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more...

“We absolutely loved staying in the Captain's Cabin. Bourton on the Water is in a great location for day trips, but we had to pull ourselves away from this adorable and bustling little village. Location of the Captain's Cabin is quiet and peaceful, but just a two minute walk to all that Bourton on the Water has to offer! We loved ending our days cuddling up by the fire and had the best sleep in the charming and comfortable bedroom. ”
