Winter wonderland
Clean, cozy, comfortable and the stove kept us warm all day and night. We were lucky enough to see Elk and meet a few neighbors. Unique neighborhood in tbe winters and I sure amazing in the summers. Thank you for such a beautiful home.

Peaceful and well appointed.
Beautiful home in an incredibly peaceful area. Not too many places left in the world where you can walk outside and not hear any traces of man (Cars, factories etc) but this is one. Probably the most well appointed home we've ever rented, truly made us feel welcome. I had mentioned to Mike earlier that we were hoping to make it to the home in time to catch my favorite college football team and not only did we barely make it on time, the satellite TV was already tuned to the channel our game was on. Might have been a coincidence but based on the thoughtful appointments of the rest of the home, it just might have been been stellar customer service. Really enjoyed our trip.

The cabin is a great place for a tranquil, off-the-beaten path getaway. It has all the comforts of home, is clean, well-equipped and ibeautifully furnished. The instruction manual is detailed so you are never left wondering about anything. Lots of wildlife, places to walk and ways to keep busy (or not-a great place to just unwind). Would definitely stay here again.

Die Hütte war wie beschrieben wirklich super. Zwei Queen size Betten in den Schlafzimmern, Handtücher, Bettzeug .. Großer Gasgrill und eine wunderbare Veranda. Auch sonst hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wilde Tiere sind dort viel unterwegs. Es war sehr ruhig aber nicht einsam. Nachbarn waren kaum sichtbar. Urlaub für Famile in der Natur ideal..

Such an awesome winter adventure
This was our second time staying at Mikes cabin. It is an absolute blast to be there in winter. We rented a snowmobile and had a ton of fun riding it to a sledding hill or on the trails in the national forest near arrowhead. Snowshoeing to the lodge in the evening for a burger and a margarita is a ton of fun and we played bingo there on Wednesday. We will be making this an annual trip for sure.

Amazing
The cabin was very nice. We felt relaxed as soon as we got there. And relaxation was the whole point of ditching the grid for a few days. Plenty of wildlife in the area and the weather was great. We’ll be hoping for a return trip sometime in 2024.

This is a large cabin nestled in a subdivision about six miles from the nearest highway. Very private and secluded with an incredible view of the night sky. Deer are abundant. The cabin itself has several amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Highly recommended all around! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a week in tranquility, surrounded by peace and wildlife. The cabin was well stocked with everything we could desire and more. The host, Mike, was extremely communicative before, during, and after our visit. We had no issues or concerns during our week long stay. We would not hesitate to return!

The cabin was just as it was advertised EXCEPT the porch was much more amazing than we expected. We had coffee on the porch in the mornings and adult beverages on the porch after dark! A lovely place for just the two of us and maybe a couple more!

Beautiful Log Cabin
We would highly recommend this log cabin! It is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. Loved sitting on the front porch and watching the deer walk through the property, every day. Beds were comfortable so every morning woke up rested. Loved everything about it!

Fun in the snow
Enjoy the Cabin life from a spacious porch, or get out in your snowmobile or Skis, and frolic on the property or local trails. Snowed in??? The cabin is fully furnished 2 bed,1-1/2 baths, efficient fire stove, super comfortable couches, chairs, and a full Kitchen.

Snowmobile and Snowshoe Get Away
Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, kitchen had it all. Wood stove kept us so warm we had to open the doors a couple times to cool off. Peace and quiet surrounded us in the beauty of a 10,000 mountain range in a deep blanket is snow. All we had to do was relax.

Beautiful cabin in gorgeous surroundings!
Very pleased with our choice! Had never been to that part of Colorado and just fell in love with all of it! Black Canyon of the Gunnison 1 hr away was a wonderful day-trip. The cabin is spacious and well designed, quality furnished and well appointed with everything you could need. Loved the kitchen! Only my husband and I so we had room to spare and enjoyed all the conveniences - particularly appreciated the cleanliness of kitchen and bathrooms. Only drawback: no king size bed but this is a personal preference and we were informed of the fact in advance. Definitely recommend this stay, difficult to find a more beautiful setting. Thank you Mike!!
