“Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities.”

“House is quaint. Enjoyed the wood stove after sitting on the deck playing games on a beautiful autumn day. One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine. Would be amazing in the summer!”

“This was the best lakehouse my family has ever stayed at. It was quiet, comfortable, there was a dock to swim off, a raft to swim to, it was private, it hit all the best amenities of staying at a lake. My kids want to live there now (9 and 11 years old). It was really clean, had everything (I mean everything) you need to stay there. We ended up staying an extra night. The communication was very good. Everything was made easy for us. “There are not enough good words to accurately capture the beauty of this home and its surroundings. 10 stars out of 10! Would definitely stay here again! LOCATION: Located in the country (but all paved roads) was perfect to unwind and relax. Houlton was a quick drive away for any groceries if wanting to cook for yourself. The view from the back of the home begged for a moose to come strolling out from the distant tree line or a perfect inspiration for painting/capturing the beauty of fall...
