The Breezes Rio Bueno is a very attractive property. The staff was very accomodating regarding room maintenance issues(air conditioning was not working properly) and resolved the problem in moments not hours or days. The employees at this property were very cordial from the gardeners, kitchen associates, maintenance workers, waiters, bartenders and lobby staff. I most always received a good morning or a salutation from all of the above mentioned. The food was good but it would have been nice to see a chef's daily special from the Italian restaraunt and the lunch cafe by the pool, as there menus were pretty limited. The jerk meat from the pool cafe was delicious all the same. There was one stand out at the resort who was a bartender and his name was Courtney. This young fella had the late shift at one of the bars and often was inundated at times with thirsty drunk vacationers. He always remained cool, professional, patient and still concocted these delicious drinks. He was a standout but once again I think all the associates are well trained regarding guest relations.
The activities that were offered I thought were very good. There was a golf driving range, golf course, putting green, gym, various water craft, and a game room. So getting drunk was not your only option at this resort.
The only thing lacking at this resort is a nice beach. They really need to invest some money on this. The entire ocean floor of the beach was coral, rocks, and sea urchins. Uninhabitable to humans
