Casivieri se encuentra al final de un valle, prometiendo privacidad absoluta, en un entorno idílico de 40 acres con vistas realmente increíbles. La paz y la privacidad absolutas están garantizadas, ya que la villa está bien alejada de cualquier camino dentro de terrenos que incluyen un bosque de trufas, olivares, prados silvestres, arroyos y una rica variedad de árboles frutales. Después de muchos años de abandono, la villa ha sido bellamente restaurada conservando las cualidades clásicas de la estructura, al tiempo que hace una casa magníficamente terminada y lujosa. Si puede separarse de la piscina y la cancha de tenis profesional recientemente completada, las ciudades locales de Citta di Castello, San Sepulcro, Monterchi y Anghuiri están llenas de aventuras que prometen una experiencia italiana inolvidable. Si eso no es suficiente, Florencia, Perugia, Sienna, Asís y el enorme lago Trasimano están a poca distancia.


Comprensión de Umbría: Umbría es famosa por sus contrastes, su impresionante comida, un rico tapiz de ciudades medievales, maravillosas playas junto al lago, caminatas brillantes y escalada en montañas, junto con todas las imágenes tradicionales de Italia, como campos llenos de flores de sol y prados inundados de Wold flores. ¡La gente, que no sufre demasiado por las influencias de las ciudades, es muy acogedora y no tarda una eternidad en entregar su primera cerveza después de una larga caminata caliente!

Ayuda local: La casa es administrada por 'Patrizia' y sus tres hijas que viven a la vuelta de la colina. Patrizia es una guía de caminatas calificada y puede llevarlo por algunas rutas maravillosas a través de lo mejor de la Toscana y Umbría. Sus hijas son excelentes cocineras que están felices de atender almuerzos o cenas a pedido. Todos hablan inglés y están muy dispuestos a ayudar.

El clima: en general, la región disfruta de un clima muy confortable. Cuando hace demasiado calor, Casivieri está situado en las colinas y se beneficia de la brisa fresca de la tarde.

Las paredes de la casa tienen aproximadamente cuatro pies de grosor y todas las ventanas están cerradas. En los días calurosos, el interior se mantiene muy fresco, lo que permite un sueño agradable e ininterrumpido.

Relaxing remote location
Amazing property which is really well equipped for large groups or families. We had grandma down to energetic grandchildren! Loved the pool and, even though it was hot, the tennis court was well used in the evenings. Literally miles from your neighbours so a perfect place to enjoy being together.

We had a marvellous stay in this ancient house. It was much more a well loved family home than a typical pristine holiday let and, as such, made for a more relaxing time. One point of note, however, is the layout of the house which I didn’t clock when booking. The two bathrooms are both on the first floor and one is en suite. The three bedrooms on the second floor and one on the first floor therefore share a bathroom. We managed to work round this by including the shower on the ground floor but it might not work for everyone. The location is amazing. Secluded is certainly the right description. It took a while to get anywhere - the norm for Umbria! Very quiet with bird song all day. The display of fireflies one evening was an incredible sight. Highly recommended.

Ein Teil vom Paradies
Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche in Casivieri. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief perfekt. Die Villa eignet sich vorallen für Gruppen und Familien die Erholung und Ruhe suchen. Ein großer Supermarkt befindet sich 20 Autominuten entfernt in Città di Castello. Pool und Tennisplatz haben wir reichlich genutzt und sind im sauberen Zustand. Insgesamt können wir die Villa wärmstens empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit erneut buchen. Wunderbar schönes Haus in Alleinlage
Ein wunderbares Haus in einzigartiger Alleinlage. Perfekt ausgestattet mit dem Luxus eines Pools und Tennisplatzes zur privaten Nutzung. Perfekt sauber und einfach in der Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und dem Portal. Ein sehr großer Supermarkt ist auch nur 25 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage ist herrlich abgelegen aber trotzdem sind Haushälterin und Haushälter in direkter Nähe, wenn etwas sein sollte. Jederzeit wieder gerne, es war wunderbar!!!

Havre de tranquillité
La maison est fantastique (+ tout le nécessaire est à disposition) et l’endroit calme et isolé. Nous avons passé une semaine entre amis entre la piscine, les terrasses et les charmants villages alentours. La communication avec Vicky était simple et rapide et nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’aide de Marcello sur place, y compris pour nous orienter vers un garage en urgence!

En smuk oplevelse
Vi glemmer aldrig denne pragtfulde autentiske umbriske villa. Man nyder de smukke rum. Fascineres af de italienske håndværkere der skabte og vedligeholdte huset i vist over 200 år. Haven, udsigten, cikaderne, poolen, tennisbanen og varmen i august! Man har næsten ikke trang til at forlade huset for at se på andre steder. 25 min til gode butikker i Citta di Castello. Ok fint køkken i huset. Ok WiFi. Gør man det rigtigt er huset køligt i august nætterne. De lokale værter er flinke og dygtige.

Ydyllisk hus i smukke omgivelser
Vi tilbragte en dejlig uge i Casivieri. Huset ligger smukt og afsides. Vejen dertil er lang og lidt kroget, men huset er dejligt og udendørsarealerne perfekte til to familier med børn i alderen 9-17 år. Her er fredeligt og meget smukt. Man skal dog være indstillet på at skulle køre relativt langt for at købe ind eller komme til en by. Og det foregår af mindre veje. Huset er gammelt, men hyggeligt. Ægteparret der passer huset er venligt og servicemindet. Vi havde bl.a problemer med en vaskemaskine der gik i stykker, men den blev hurtigt skiftet.

To norske familier med barn 7-16 år storkoste seg på denne plassen. Nydelig bassengområde og hage. Vi slutter oss til all ros i tidligere anmeldelser! Umbria er et glimrende alternativ til mer travle Toscana. Vi vil varmt anbefale stedet til kjente!

Un séjour paradisiaque
Noter séjour s'est magnifiquement bien passé. La maison est superbe, située dans un cadre exceptionnel. Le calme est total. Très bien équipée, la maison est tout à fait confortable. Il est difficile de lui trouver des défauts. Notons peut-être quand même que les trois chambres du deuxième étage sont situées sous le toit et sont plus basses de plafond. Mais ce n'est absolument pas un problème ! A l'extérieur la piscine est bien entretenue de même que le court de tennis, en très bon état. L'Ombrie est une région superbe, moins touristique et plus sauvage que la Toscane mais elle est tout aussi belle. Ce fut un séjour exceptionnel.

Heerlijk verblijf in een fantastische omgeving en een oase van rust
Met ons gezin hebben we genoten van dit fantastische authentieke huis gelegen op een schitterende plek in Umbrië. De aanwezigheid van een tennisbaan en het zwembed waren de kers op de taart! De eigenaren zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam, reactie was netjes en snel. Wat ons betreft een echte aanrader!!!!

Peace and tranquility.....
The house was absolutely beautiful in every way and the kind of peace, seclusion and ‘real Italy’ that we always try to look for in a holiday rental. The owners provided excellent directions (with landmark photos - perfect) really good to follow and got straight there without any mistakes. House info provided was great, this helped us all get settled in really quickly. We took advantage of having food prepped for our arrival, this turned out to be a great decision - so good! The local contacts pool/garden/house keeping all excellent. Even though the weather was VERY hot, we loved the opportunity to play plenty of tennis in the evenings. The comfy seating area by the pool was an unexpected, shady bonus - such a great idea. About half of our evenings were also used to explore the area and eat out, highly recommend a day trip over the mountains to Urbino, What a place and stunning scenery on the way too. Plenty of local wildlife … thrilled to see porcupine and wild boar!

Nirvana in Umbria
This is an amazing property, ideally suited for families looking for a peaceful respite after visiting the crowded "must see" venues of Italy. It's also heavenly for a couple, who can luxuriate in all that space and in harmony with the beauty of pastoral Umbria. My wife and I have rented apartments and villas in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Sorrento, but this is the property we enjoyed the most and look forward to actually returning to. And unlike many listings, the property matches the photos.

Outstanding property and vacation!
We had the good fortune to spend three weeks at Casivieri in June 2018. First impressions of both the house and landscape are spectacular. Situated on the slopes of a valley, the panorama genuinely does take your breath away. Rolling, wooded hills in all directions, the castle at Monte as a persistent landmark, it is almost as if the scene was constructed to appeal. The house is very old, substantial, and it feels like a privilege to be one of the many who must have passed through. The wisteria clad terrace was where we spent most of our time. Family meals, and games late into the night; that’s what the holiday was all about and Casivieri provided the catalyst for the experience. The garden is very well maintained and beautifully laid out. I didn’t read about it on the website, but there are plenty of herbs in the garden. An entire hedge of rosemary, bay trees, sage, oregano and plenty of fresh mint (required for mojito time). The kitchen was unusually well equipped. The stovetop has 8 gas burners, which is very helpful for a large group with a multitude of cooking needs and waking times. One thing that impressed me, the knives were sharp. Not always a given at a rental. With two living rooms, one on the first and the other on the second floor, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The bedrooms had lots of storage space. There are two bedrooms on the second floor and three on the third. There is no bathroom on the third floor, but with two bathrooms on the second floor and one of the first, we were fine. The pool is very well kept, large, and a refreshing temperature. The new sunbeds around it were much appreciated. We used the tennis court most days, but a word to the wise, it is fast and older knees need some getting used to it. Though we didn’t have any little children with us, it is clear that they would be well catered for with a tree house and sand pit, together with toys in the bench on the terrace. I would describe the property as secluded (rather than remote). I timed it, and it is a 15 minute drive to Monterchi, where the local grocery store has pretty much most of what you’ll need. In 20 minutes you can drive to the grocery store in Citta, and absolutely everything you might want will be found there (charcoal for the BBQ, medicines for the infirm etc.). I've run out of characters for this review, but I'll leave it by saying "just go", you won't regret it!
