“Gary and Tina have really found a piece of paradise and built it up into a lovely little resort. It is in the middle of the real Belize. Closer to nature than The other locations that I stayed. There were dolphins visible from the dock. The beautiful reef, teeming with fish was a short paddle away. The Belizean cook made creative dinners nightly. Fresh catch of the day was delivered by a local fishermen to the dock. The number and variety of birds was amazing! I’ll be back! ”

“My business partner and I took 8 of our employees to Little Harvest Caye for a weeklong retreat and we just can't say enough how perfect it was! This little island is immaculate. The beds were comfortable, the food and drinks were amazing (thank you Oscar!), and the staff was incredible! “Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at.”

Miriam was helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns - we had a noisy neighbor which she addressed. “Wonderfully located a close distance to the main town of Placencia. This property was super unique and tucked back far enough you felt like you were super secluded. The accommodations were great and the staff attended to any issue that arose. Make sure to take the hummingbird highway down if you drive from the city. Also, don't forget to stop for tamales at Mrs. Betha's at mile-marker 26 on your way down. A couple of quick notes, you are in a tropical location, so we did have some little ants...

The area is safe and quiet; it was close enough to Placencia (town) without being too crowded. We were able to make a few day trips to interesting sites, so the location was excellent.
