“Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again.”

“We brought our three married children,their partners and our five grandchildren to Albion House to spend Christmas together. Albion House was perfect for us. Warm,very well equipped, comfortable beds,travel cot and trouble taken to decorate a Christmas tree and decorate the rooms. Extra praise for the way a forgotten wallet was promptly detached. We can recommend Albion House without reservation.”

“Property was spotless, beds comfortable, Wi-Fi very good, kitchen well equipped, though none of the odds and end like salt and pepper often found in a self catering place so take absolutely everything you need with you. Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep.”

“Lovely owners welcomed us to the cottage which is bigger than it looks in the pictures. We visited the castles, drove the 50 minutes to Rochford beach a few times, swam in one of the Lochs, had lovely food in the cafe in town (20 minutes away) and good beer in the posh hotel. ”

The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.”

“Lovely location and awesome views. Property was very comfortable and cosy. We're allergic to feathers so Sue made sure there were no issues. She took great care to think of our wellbeing. We are an older couple so comfort and ease of getting around the flat are important to us. The flat was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thanks fir a lovely stay.”

“We used this hotel as a half way point. Staff very friendly and attentive! Hotel needs renovation tbh. Web site makes it look in much better condition. Food while expensive for eve meal was delicious! We didn't get to try the Scottish Breakfast as on a Saturday it begins at 8am. We left at 7.30am. Historically interesting with Robbie Burns of fame being a local once upon a time.”
