Not So Happy
Our stay had its moments of promise but ultimately fell short due to poor cleanliness and lack of communication. While check-in was seamless and the location was great, the house was not well-maintained. The dishes and cups were dirty with visible smears, the coffee maker was moldy with floating particles and used water, and there was no coffee provided, which is a bare minimum at most rentals. The hot tub had brown particles floating in it, and the master bedroom's top sheet smelled so strongly of sweat we had to remove it. Kitchen seats were stained and smelled unpleasant. On arrival, all the power was on, music was playing, and the back door was wide open, which made us uneasy, as it felt like someone might have been inside. Despite reaching out multiple times, we received no response from the host. This experience makes me hesitant to rent from a company again, as privately owned rentals feel more inviting and cared for. The lack of cleanliness and communication was very disappointing.
