“Wilmington and this chalet were both wonderful getaways for my husband and I. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and cozy and had the bonus of a fantastic location. We hiked Haystack and Hogsback, swam and paddle boarded in Harriman Reservoir, and explored the lovely town (Bartleby's bookstore, breweries, Dot's and Village Roost were our favorites). “Place was super clean. My wife’s favorite video game pac man was down stairs which gave us all a chance to compete against each other and was a blast. We would love to go back A on this property ”

“The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed and there is a great fireplace with plenty of seasoned firewood. A huge dining table seated 10 comfortably. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the stay.”

“The house was clean, spacious, and we’ll set up for ski groups. We used the pool and the club house. Plowing was prompt even with a big snow storm. ”

“The house is huge and has a giant finished basement perfect for the kids to retreat to. The kitchen had every appliance you can think of and the pizza oven worked perfectly. Hot tub outside was the icing on the cake after a day of skiing. The kids were also sledding on the golf course. The shuttle that comes right to the house made this super easy to get everyone to the mountain together. Will definitely stay again! Maybe for a golf retreat next time.”

“Great house in an unusually lovely place: herb and flower gardens, hummingbirds, good hiking trail from the backyard, 6 minutes to Ashfield Lake for swimming - watch for the bald eagle that flies over the lake - ice cream within walking distance, fresh corn…the place is just perfect.”

“I stayed here with my daughter and her two sons, ages 1/1/2 and 4 1/2. We had a terrific time; enjoyed the lake, the boats, the fire pit and the peaceful and beautiful environment. Jim was close by and helpful. I did think it odd that we had to purchase our own firewood as there were several piles of wood in the yard.”

“Great place to stay on a small lake. Good fishing and lots of salamanders. Couldn't use the fire pit as the chairs had bird poop on them and there was a lot of grass growing into it but the beach was nice and the house was fantastic. ”

“Cindy was a pleasure to work with! Her home was exactly as described. We felt very comfortable in her home and the town of Jamaica is so cute! We went to the cutest little general store every morning to get breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of board games to enjoy waiting for you as you arrive… it is 15 minutes from Stratton Mountain. There is a foyer to leave your boots and jackets to hang. ”
