“The house was very clean and decorated nicely with lake and beach theme accents. The best part was the large windows that looked out on the lake. We enjoyed paddling around the small lake with the kayaks.The gorgeous fsunsets were easily viewed from the property.”

“I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. “We had a lovely visit in Wilton and were granted the special privilege of seeing and hearing the waterfall and associated pools fill up with water overnight due to heavy thunder showers after a long dry spell. Magical, indeed.Cottage is a special little place! We hope to be back at another time of year.”

“The cottage was everything as it was advertised. The owner Joe bent over backwards to accommodate everything we needed.I can’t say enough good things about our experience with the property and the owner and the neighborhood. Location, location, location. Spectacular view on the water.I would give them a 1010 if that was an option. We hope to stay there again.”

“I was a solo traveler because my companion had to change plans, so I had the benefit of complete piece of mind at this place, and more room than I needed. It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. I'm looking forward to returning here in the future for sure ”

“Cottage is rustic and very comfortable, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The waterfront is beautiful and so peaceful, and the view of Monadnock is incredible. Warm water to swim or float, great fishing from the dock, and the owners are super nice. We made some great memories, and would definitely return!”
