Beautiful but not for those with mobility issues
This is a stunning property - very spacious and modern. The bathrooms are larger than most in old buildings with all conveniences. The kitchen is also a very decent size and is well equipped. One small disappointment though was that there is a Nespresso coffee maker but no pods! Grocery stores are not readily available as this is a tourist area so I was unable to find anywhere to buy pods. There was some other coffee in a jar but it was a bit stale. We really like good coffee so fresh coffee would have been nice!
We loved the view from the many windows in the apartment and we especially loved coffee on the balcony every morning.
We offer these warnings to those who are arriving by car and/or who have mobility challenges. This is NOT an easy place to get to. There is parking at the Ente Liceo Convitto but it is a several minute walk down hill and up steps to get to the apartment. Then when you want to get down to the Corso Umberto (main street) it's 200 steps. This is just the reality of beautiful apartments in old cities but if you're not readily mobile I do not recommend this place.
