Quiet peaceful cabin
My family and I LOVED the hideaway. We had amazing weather, and loved sitting on the beautiful deck enjoying the woods and quiet.
There were some minor cleanliness, preventive maintenance issues, it was very dusty and dog hair was under the beds. And when we went to take a shower, the water ran black/brown. Also, one of the batteries in a smoke detector was low and the low battery alarm was sounding every 30 seconds.
The important thing is about problem resolution, after only 1 call, the property team sent a maintenance person over and within an hour of the call, the batteries were changed out and our cabin was once again peaceful and quiet. Recommend the cleaning service, run the water in the shower/tubs/washer etc when they know the property has been empty for a couple of weeks, to avoid the guests being surprised.
OK, got that out of the way. The cabin was very well maintained, we thought it was brand new, appliances were all in perfect order, location was exactly what we wanted, isolated and quiet. Only 15 mins to Blueridge and we had a great time in town. We will definitely be back, and the customer service was wonderful.
