Perfect getaway
The house was spacious and really clean. Ended up being a perfect space for our getaway. Was in contact with owner before getting there. Kristine was friendly and accommodating. While we were there we had a minor issue. We were able to contact Kristine and they were there promptly and able to resolve the issue. We will go back if able.

Christmas in Milton
This was our third stay at Kristine’s property; we had a delightful time there as always. Kristine definitely goes the extra mile as host. The house is as pictured, and super comfortable. The basket of snacks was a very much appreciated touch. The kitchen has every amenity you need, and we were able to prepare meals for the extended family. Thanks again for everything!

pure excellence
Had a board game weekend with friends, and this place suited our needs perfectly. I cant believe how well stocked it was. Chances are if you accidentally forgot something it was there. The ambiance of the decorations made it feel really homey, too. Lacked for nothing.

Immaculate
We have stayed at a dozen or so rental properties over the past decade and this one stands out at the top for cleanliness, communication and attention to detail. I loved my time out on the screen porch looking out at the pond and listening to the wildlife. There is no "the only thing I'd change is..." statement we could make. We are grateful!

Perfect retreat
From the first contact the retreat was the perfect choice for us. I looked at other properties but was really impressed with the quality of communication and the helpfulness of the host that I chose this one because of that. It so makes the value of the cost. We so enjoyed the retreat and left feeling relaxed and feeling so blessed by the whole experience. The location allowed us to do so many things with little stress and it was just perfect. We were all sad that our time came to an end because it was simply perfect.

Wooded Pond relaxation
Our stay at the Wooded Pond Retreat was wonderful. The house itself is a gem. It is freshly renovated, decorated, and fully supplied for any need. We enjoyed the screened-in porch was used regularly for enjoyable evenings enjoying the wildlife outside in the pond. In addition, the large living room and full-size den or family room were both comfy and handy for different small groups to gather. The beds were perfect and bathrooms clean and well equipped. Overall I cannot say enough good things about this property! We visited many nearby towns, including walking paths, nature and botanical gardens, and had lots of fun shopping & exploring restaurants in the area too. Thank you to Kristine & family for your quick support during the heavy storms we had during our stay. They are close by and easy to communicate with. Highly Recommend!

Beauty and comfort
Clean, beautiful, comfortable, spacious; This was such a wonderful place for mine and my brother's family to stay while in the area for a reunion. I was extremely impressed with how well stocked the house was. The host was so accommodating and we loved all the little touches to make us feel welcome. They really thought of everything. The updates in the house are beautiful as is the surrounding pond and trees. I only wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy all it had to offer. We would definitely come back!

Family vacation
We were back in Wisconsin for a visit and this home was the perfect size and location for us and our family. The home was beautiful and the view of the pond was very entertaining for us and the grandkids. I can not come up with one negative comment and we plan on returning to this home next year!

Tranquil Retreat
The house was a perfect size for our family gathering. Plus an added bonus it had everything we needed. It was fun watching the bird feeders and all the wildlife around the pond out the dining room window and the screened in porch. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Christmas in WI
This was our second stay at this property in Milton, and it was every bit as good as our first time. The property is well suited for family groups, with three large bedrooms and very comfortable living areas. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with plenty of basic supplies. Kristine is an outstanding host, making us feel very welcome, and providing a very homey environment. Can’t think of a single negative for this property — wholeheartedly recommend it.

Relaxing Stay
We loved staying here. The mornings on the screened porch overlooking the pond were so relaxing. Two separate living spaces allowed us to spread out if needed. The kitchen also had a great view of the pond and was equipped well with many extras. We had a chance to see a bald eagle fly around the pond and into the overhead trees several times as an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again!

The Good Life in the Country
There was so much attention to detail and extremely well equipped. Communication was easy and directions were very clear. So excited to see the huge eagles nest on property, watch geese fly in and listen to the birds. Great WIFI connection. The kitchen has everything. Immaculate!!!

Wonderful property
We were a group of 9 and had plenty of room. Kristine keeps the property completely stocked and it actually seemed bigger than expected. There is a ramp in the garage that greatly helped with my 94 yr old sister and her walker The only thing I found surprising and difficult was there were no handicap bars in main shower. And also no door or curtain, even tho it is beautifully tiled. The property is impeccably clean and looks to be totally remodeled. The pond is lovely to watch with lots of wildlife, sand hill cranes and we even saw a deer! Thanks, Kristine, we had a great stay!

The house was very comfortable, lots of room, nice treats left for us upon our arrival. Price was right, first house that we have rented that left plenty of toilet paper for us. Past rentals we had to buy toilet paper before the end of our stay. It’s the little things that makes the difference.

Perfect for family reunion!
Kristine’s place exceeded our expectations! The location was great for us — fifteen minutes or less to Janesville. The house was exceptionally comfortable, with many welcoming touches. Kitchen was well equipped, as was the rest of the house. Two large living rooms with lots of seating, dining table that accommodated 8 easily, with an island that held another four-five. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the place as well; lots of birds outside the windows, as well as two great blue herons that visited the pond frequently; squirrels, chipmunks, a groundhog, and even a fawn that wandered past one morning. The house was very comfortable for just hanging out and visiting. We were in town to celebrate my father in laws 93rd birthday, and appreciated the ramps into the house from the garage, as he uses a walker, and one of us uses a scooter for mobility. Kris’s I was very easy to communicate with, and did everything she could to make us feel welcomed. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

“Just like home”
This beautiful home is truly a home away from home! Spacious kitchen stocked with all the essentials and more, comfy furniture in the living room and family room, 3 bathrooms, plenty of beds, extra chairs, and a host, Kristine, who puts all the special added touches to make you feel so welcome! We enjoyed watching the eagles, sandhill cranes, and the critters at the bird feeders every morning! Our two granddaughters especially liked “the babies” and variety of toys while they were here! It truly made our visit back to our home state the best ever! We will be back!❤️

Amazing Home!

Great quiet location
This property is located in a great location! Short drive to many different locations. We loved the house and the space it offered. There were 3 bedrooms where we could all spread out. Being able to sit out in the screen porch after our day of sightseeing was great. All the extra amenities were great in case you forgot something.
