Acabamos de remodelar y actualizar esta cabaña. Alquilamos nuestro lugar en VRBO / HomeAway durante 10 años, pero lo retiramos del mercado cuando nuestra hija y su esposo se mudaron a la zona. Se han mudado ahora y acabamos de completar una extensa remodelación / actualización en la propiedad. Lavaplatos nuevos, baños nuevos, muebles nuevos y los pisos de madera renovados, ¡y mucho más! Hemos añadido un pozo de fuego para su disfrute. ¡Incluso le proporcionaremos la leña! También hemos añadido un jacuzzi! Muy privado y escondido en su propio acre dentro de un pequeño vecindario de montaña, todavía estás muy cerca de Hendersonville, Brevard y Asheville, todo dentro de 25 minutos en coche o menos. Wonderful location
This was a great location and just what we were looking for. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and Hugh was easy to communicate with and issues were fixed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this location to others as it was a perfect homebase for all our activities and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Anniversary get away
Our stay in Mills River was fantastic! The property was clean, private, and offered a peaceful retreat. Its the perfect location to be able to enjoy Asheville, Hendersonville, and the waterfalls in Mills River. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi after a full day of exploring the area. Communication with the owner was seamless, making our stay stress-free. The cabin is decorated very cute with a nice cabin feel. If you're in the area, be sure to check out The Salty Landing—their food was delicious with great hospitality! We also loved visiting Bold Rock Mills River Cidery, where we enjoyed live music, amazing smoked wings, and great drinks. We will definitely be back!

Property is in a great location, convenient to everywhere. Very comfortable and clean, a little TLC outside as far as cleaning the yard and deck would go a long way. The wood stove gave off a very strong firepit odor that was a little offensive but that was by far my biggest complaint. Overall it. Was a great experience.

Beautiful location in the mountains. Owners notified us of the electrical outage due to a storm that went through before we got there. We really appreciated that. Enjoyed our stay very much and the cabin is very clean and quiet!

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. It was such a great place to stay. I loved the privacy. Hugh was a pleasure to communicate with. It has everything you need for cooking and little toiletry items. I would highly recommended this cozy cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a bit!

Great private location with a great mountain feel yet close to amenities. Having both a hot tub and a firepit in such a private location was great. A few of the appliances were at end of life and the second bedroom is probably most suited for kids but still worked as a second room for an additional adult. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin in the mountains was everything we were looking for. Everything from the furnished kitchen to the awesome hot tub! Communication with the owner was great. Enjoyed the outdoor grill & having the added bonus of the beautiful location. We enjoyed the Biltmore Estate, blue ridge parkway, and downtown Asheville! Definitely recommend

Adorable Mountain Retreat!
The cabin was everything described and more! Very clean, cute cookware, and pretty dishes! The hot tub was clean and private, very nice and exactly what I had wanted! I would stay again in a heartbeat! I wasn't expecting the adjustable bed... bonus!!! My boyfriend would have liked a firmer mattress, but it was perfect for me!!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway!
Really enjoyed this cabin for our week long spring break vacation. Mills River had plenty to do that was nice and close and we enjoyed the day at the Cabin for Easter. Cabin had everything we needed and our boys loved having yard space with trees and a creek! It was sunny and warm the first half of our stay but we realky enjoyed the wood stove and hot tub once it cooled down. Played a few of the board games on hand and really had a nice time together as a family. Would definitely visit again!

Great cabin!
We stayed for a weekend, and the cabin was clean and well-kept. The hot tub was so nice! We saw deer and the stars were bright and beautiful in this quiet area. Communication was easy with the owners. Just to know though- the road up the mountain to it is very narrow and steep.

My husband and I both enjoyed our stay here. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We loved that we felt remote but were just a few minutes from a main road. The drive to the cabin was a little tricky. Signs said Private Property and Private Road/Dead End...just keep going! Was nervous I was going to end up on a property I was not supposed to be on. Drive slow, it's only one lane with a few wide spots. I sadly didn't make it into the hot tub, but it definitely looked inviting. It was just a bit cold outside. The cabin was very clean! Only used the bed on the main floor. The bed is a tempur-pedic with massage! Very comfortable! The water in the shower was nice and hot! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with.(Silverware, pots and pans, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, salt and pepper, and a few spices.) Just bring food and condiments. The kitchen table set up was very cute! The owners have some check in's and check out requests, very easy to follow directions! The owners were easily reachable if/when anything was needed. Very quiet and peaceful cabin! It is a great cabin to stay at and I am looking forward to another visit soon!

Nice, private cabin just outside the city. Super helpful hosts. My son lost his wallet in the cabin. Messaged the owners, they found it & mailed it back to him! Amazing….Kids loved the hot tub & the loft bedroom. Definitely would stay again for our next Asheville trip!

Everything we wanted and more
Hugh and Sharon do a great job of showing the amenities in the listing, but here are a couple things you won't know until you get there: *It's nice and warm, no draft to speak of *There's no 'echoiness' common in smaller cabins *With the candles included and the fireplace, every night was romantic *The bed is very comfortable Great stay, we really enjoyed a chance to get out of the house and this was just what we needed!

A little mishap with the property being cleaned when we got there, but Hugh jumped on it and had the housekeepers there within 30 minutes of our arrival. He also compensated us for the misunderstanding. Overall the cabin was exactly what we needed! We'd definitely go back.
