Esta casa diseñada por Max Pritchard Architect, ubicada en el popular destino vacacional de Middleton, Australia del Sur, cuenta con impresionantes vistas costeras, del río Murray y rurales hasta donde alcanza la vista. Ubicado en la colina en 80 acres de tierras de cultivo ondulantes se encuentra "Macai Luxury Lodge".

Impresionantes vistas de la costa y el río le dan la bienvenida para conducir hasta la propiedad. La entrada pavimentada de la parte delantera del vehículo se abre a través de antiguas puertas de madera que lo llevan a través del tranquilo y exuberante patio hacia la magia que es "Macai Luxury Lodge".

La espaciosa y acogedora sala de estar, comedor y cocina cuenta con impresionantes vistas, a través de la piscina de sal subterránea, que debe verse para creerse y le hará sentir como si estuviera de vacaciones en una revista de viajes de lujo. Una verdadera sensación de calma y retirada se sentirá de inmediato cuando se hunda en el sofá adyacente al fuego abierto.

La suite principal ocupa el extremo este de la casa con calefacción por suelo radiante y una cama king size, baño de concreto ubicado dentro de la habitación para capturar la impresionante vista junto con un impresionante baño generoso con dos lavamanos de concreto, una enorme ducha y un inodoro y bidé separados. . Otros tres dormitorios, dos con camas queen, uno con 2 juegos de literas junto con un sofá cama en la sala de juegos, ofrecen mucho espacio para todos los huéspedes. The master bed/bathroom is amazing. Great view of the rising sun from the bed. If only it had been warm enough for a swim. Would have been nice if it had a keycode lock instead of having to make a slight detour to pick up the keys.

Blissful home
The house is nestled into the hillside with the most stunning and vast views from Lake Alexandrina all the way to Port Elliott. It would have to be one of the most beautiful properties I have ever visited. Views from every bedroom, spacious, gorgeous bathrooms, extensive lounge, dining and kitchen which provided plenty of space for 10 of us. Sheep grazing on the paddocks, privacy, room to breathe and just enjoy and be. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space.

Beautiful house and fantastic location, but lacking luxury touches.
Fantastic home, divine view and location - we had a wonderful time together here soaking in the view, and loved both bath tubs and the pool (and pool temp). But, for a house advertised as a "luxury stay", and for the price - it really was missing the luxury touches - or any form or hospitality. I have stayed in homes all over the country - and the little touches make a huge difference. Simple things like leaving coffee and tea supplies, a welcome pack, shampoo and conditioner are expected for a "luxury" stay. Including notes or supplies for guests to make the most of the location (like chopped timber and kindling for a fireplace, or towels for the pool) is such a simple way to show hospitality. To request guests to unload the dishwasher before checkout or incur a large fee is mind-boggling - especially when you can't see how long the cycle has left. I think the house is a fantastic stay, but can't be advertised as a luxury stay without thinking about creating a welcoming, luxury experience for guests. Also, the two double beds (other than the master) are terribly uncomfortable and hard. But overall - a good house. Very clean, wonderful view.

Fabulous Accommodation, Spectacular View
An amazing property, with fabulous accommodation for 10 people. The master bedroom is breathtaking, and the layout of the building visually striking. The kitchen contained every utensil needed and was a pleasure to cook and prepare food in. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, pots, pans, dishes, serving platters, we didn't need to take a thing. There was also an abundance of toilet paper. The pool is fantastic and a fair amount of our time was spent in or by the pool. When self catering for 10 people for 3 nights, another fridge would have been useful. Overall we had a fabulous time and was a lovely way to celebrate my fathers significant birthday.

We had a wonderful stay. It was comfortable and the views were amazing. In saying that, it was a property marketed as ‘luxury’ with broken crockery and very used pans and pots. In ‘luxury’ accommodation I think filtered water and ice would be something to consider providing. Some secondary feedback would be that the pool tiles were falling off as well which my daughter almost cut her self on. The final thing I will say is the 50$ surcharge to not emptying the dishwasher is outrageous. At a property marketed as luxury having to time how long the dishwasher would take so we could get out of the property by 10 is ridiculous. We would not stay here again for the cost. Half the cost, and amazing.

Swimming pool was the highlight of this property. Crystal clear water and warm enough to dip in even in a cooler temperature. Very modern and thoughtful equipment. Entertainment room could be expanded and include more games. A lock box would be Overall, it was a relaxing experience for our group.

Pretty good overall. Just seemed to be a slight big problem and there was a mice inside too. I think re sealing all the paintwork outside would do a lot of favours to the people who stay .. too many point of entry for millipedes

Lovely place with spectacular view
We really enjoyed our stay; it was a modern and spacious house. We just had one issue. We ran out of toilet paper on the 2nd night and there was no extra in the house. We contacted management 3 times but no response. It was very disappointing especially because feedback regarding this issue was provided to the management by other guests and management response to that feedback was “We are continually trying to improve this process and your feedback is extremely valuable in ensuring we can improve the customer experience for future guests.” but obviously no improvement.

Amazing location, unique property just needs a bit more attention to detail
I have to start by saying we had the best time at this property and loved staying here. From the minute we drove through the gates and were greeted by sheep and alpacas we knew this was not your average location. The floor to ceiling glass it pretty much every room allows you to appreciate the breath taking views of Middleton beach and the endless land that surrounds the property. It has everything you need; coffee machine, washer and dryer in one, dishwasher, salt, pepper, cling wrap, foil. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with not too much clutter, plenty of space outside for the kids to play or ride their bikes. Some things that they could improve on - the house honestly had so many millipedes everywhere. My 2 year old daughter just kept finding them constantly - it check take a little while to get response back from from management - safety switch #8 kept on tripping and turn the main bedrooms lights off plus the water pump (hopefully they get that fixed) - we ran out of toilet paper on the 2nd night of our 4 night stay, no extra in the house and response back from management around this issue. - although they said pool was heated it was freezing as the solar was not turned on - pool was dirty when we arrived with hundred of millipedes in it so my husband had to spend an hour cleaning it. - fridge had a bit of a smell to it But after saying all that it is very closed to lots of amazing things. Urimbirra Wildlife Park was great fun for the kids. One paddock wines I could not can put and middle beach is just beautiful. Would come back again if they improved a few things.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Property was beautiful. House was stocked with everything you would need. Only had a few issues: Really struggled with the aircon luckily it wasn't too hot the weekend we stayed but couldn't adjust to a temperature we wanted Pool wasn't heated which is fine but unfortunately meant we couldn't use it We had some friends leave the gate open accidentally when they left- This caused an angry neighbour to come over and be very rude to us (perhaps a sign to remind those not used to country life) All in all it was a lovely house with beautiful views and I would love to come back.

My husbands 50th
We had a great weekend. Stayed for my husbands 50th. Views were amazing. The property was well equipped. I know it is a rural property but the hero is the pool, unfortunately we couldn't use as there were too many millipedes. Pavers around the pool could do with a round up. I don't like giving negative feedback but when your paying top dollar you expect more

What a view!
The property was beautifully presented when we arrived and it was the perfect place for my wifes 40th. Bedrooms were awesome and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were quick to reply to my queries throughout the process although i did find the check in process a bit odd. We had to drive to goolwa to collect the keys and then drop them at victor. I would have thought a lock box on the property would be a lot more convenient for guests? A minor thing tho, overall we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Recommend.

Truly wonderful property! **10/10**
A group of 10 of us stayed at this property in July 2020 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We were originally apprehensive about booking as previous reviews had not been positive. I can say that we personally had no issues with the property whatsoever and there was not one millipede in sight. The house was very clean. All beds made beautifully with fresh linen. Fresh towels were also provided. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with all you need. Dishwashing tablets, cleaning products and tea towels were also provided. The swimming pool was crystal clear. The property is nice and private with amazing views - yet still close to the shops if needed. Coles online will deliver right up to the house if you wish. I can thoroughly recommend that you stay at Makai Luxury Lodge. Based on our recent experience I am sure you will find your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Gorgeous house wonderful location but unloved
The lodge is a beautifully designed home in a fabulous location. The views are so gorgeous and the place is light filled and very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay but there were a few unfortunate issues with the house which was obviously unloved and not what I would describe as luxury. If you’re not worried by broken gates, holes in the fly screens . Dusty dirty entrance through the very cute courtyard entrance and millions of millipedes every where including in the pool a not so clean kitchen and BBQ then you’ll love the place. Also weeds in the pavers around the pool and a rather rodenty smell in some rooms . I did like the lovely gift pack and wine and the bathrooms were clean . The master bedroom was amazing with the best bath ever and a wonderful shower. Just lovely! I feel sad to say anything negative as with just a few tweaks and attention to detail the lodge could be truly amazing!

Good but could be AMAZING!
House is beautiful and pictures are pretty accurate to what the house looks like in person. Kitchen is fully equipped with plates, cutlery, glasses, pans and pots. Nice quality furniture throughout the house, although every mattress is very firm and not very comfortable to sleep on. Downfall of this house: The pool was absolutely disgusting! Luckily 1 of us knew how to operate the suction pool cleaner otherwise we wouldn't have used the pool. We had the pool cleaner in for the entire 3 days of our stay and it still had not cleaned off all the algae on the pool tiles when we left. The pool was infested with bugs and 100's of millipedes where on the bottom of the pool. I understand that it is unavoidable due to the bush surroundings but for the price that we pay the pool should be maintained. No bin liners provided other then the 1 that was already in the bin and no spray n wipe. The air con was not cool at all and had to call the agent to figure out how to lower the temperature as there was no control panel. Was advised that it is not adjustable and is set at a set temperature. Luckily the weather was in the mid 20's for our entire stay otherwise we would have had sleepless nights. And lastly, the sofa bed in the games room had mice poo in the bed under the sheets.
