“Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). “The house was clean and well-stocked to cook. Beds were comfy and the AC worked when power wasn’t out. House manager Jeanette was so awesome — communicative, friendly, helpful. She also rents golf carts to 18 and our teens loved zipping around Hopkins and having some freedom.
