“Beautiful hotel, great service and the Blok restaurant was very nice. Disappointing with such limited use of spa facilities, which we couldnt use due to the timing of our evening meal, amd breakfast. Overall a lovely hotel though, would stay again but be a little more savvy with planning to maximise the stay. One thing to bare in mind is the additional costs for your stay. £25 early check in, £18 breakfast (pp), extra cost to use the outdoor heated pool and, of course, treatments at circa £90pp...

“Worst hotel ever! An absolute dump! Pictures don’t match the place at all!!! Had to crawl over the drunk homeless man passed out on the stairs to get to get to our room….. had dirty blood stained sheets…. Not a single towel in the room… the smell is unfortunately still burnt in my nostrils… no drinking water as restaurant/bar was closed due to the flu… yes the whole place had the flu? “Had a fabulous stay. Staff were just amazing. They really couldn't do enough. Rooms were lovely but bathroom a bit dated. Comfortable beds with absolute silence all night. We stayed just before Christmas and the open fire and Christmas Decs were so welcoming. Will definitely stay again”
