My issues with the property weren’t with the Elser… I’ve stayed there many times. It’s a great location and building. I was unaware I would have to pay the balance through a different link as well as the resort fee separately at the location. Not a big issue, but when they text me my second day there to inform me the balance needed to be paid … they text at 10:30pm and immediately followed it with, what I took as a threatening text that they would show up the next day to collect in person if it hadn’t been paid. Apparently they said they had been sending me messages through VRBO. But I don’t have VRBO and didn’t book through that site. Their approach to communication was far less than luxurious and professional. They were apologetic after I called them on it… but I was so turned off by their energy I changed my flight and checked out after paying them in full. As a woman who travels solo all over the world I can’t imagine someone showing up in person to collect. It was a small amount of money in my opinion to warrant their approach. The tv didn’t work and I messaged them at the # on the counter in the kitchen but got no response. Apparently that’s housekeeping even though that isn’t specified on the card. Their # wasn’t posted in the studio so just be sure to have that handy because the front desk only gives you a key when you arrive, they don’t handle issues like when you book through them. They arrived to fix the tv the day I checked out.
