Different vibe
We love the beach and have rented several condos in the past. This however is not our favorite rental.
Alon was responsive, didn’t go out of his way.
The unit for the most part was clean though there were some opportunities….. bare minimum for cooking utensils, dishwasher broke handles, cabinets broke glass, no cold water at sink in guest bathroom, overhead light in spare room not working, patio , and windows not clean, blinds roped. Alon said he was aware of these issues .
The main issue though upon arrival…..
The condo had an odor upon entry. It was disgusting ! Son got sick and we all had headaches and nausea. Had to open all the windows and leave the space in hopes to clear it out while we were gone to buy necessities. It was still there upon return, even the valet guy who had to help with our supplies noticed it. We febreezed , lit candles and kept windows open for the evening. While the odor dissipated with all that and cooking , it truly NEVER went away during our stay. Upon further inspection , I believe the odor comes from one of the two closest in the entry way and or hall way.
The Alexander hotel was a disappointment as well. Old and worn. Needs an update from patio furniture, workout room, decor, bathroom supplies etc. the entry way is being redone, hopefully they carry in inside eventually.
Miami is a vibe! We enjoyed the beach, South Beach and surrounding area also a day trip to Key West.
