Unsanitary, multiple things did not work, host was difficult
I was excited about staying here, given the great reviews/location. From the start, things didn't seem quite right. It took days for the host to send a message back with info. As prior review mentions, the spot is on the 12TH FLOOR. Something to keep in mind if you drive a manual. You have to temporarily park the vehicle on the street to go in the lobby for a parking pass.
When we got into the unit, everything APPEARED cleaned and tidy... But multiple lightswitches did not work (including the balcony light). Also, we could not get the TV to operate. Still not sure if the batteries were dead or the buttons were broken. The remote for the color-changing lights didn't even have batteries.
The internet did not work. We tried on our phones/tablets and we could connect to the wifi network, but the internet itself did not work.
Bathroom smelt of mildew and there were mysterious spots on the seat as if it had been used, but not cleaned. The floor had stains in the living area.
We left for nightlife, we came back to sleep. We found hair and scabs (yes, dead skin) within the bedsheets. We were disgusted but had to sleep there. Relocated to a nearb Aloft the next day. The host didn't want to refund us for the remainder of our stay and was difficult to communicate with. We took photos and reported to VRBO. The host had a cleaner come in (without letting us know) before we left, but there was still hair on the fitted sheets and stains on the floor. I wish I had more space to explain.
