Beautiful house
We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Our host gave us a friendly welcome, was informative and accommodating. She even let us pick the berries and apples in her yard. Highly recommend this listing.

Comfortable and quiet suite near Witty’s lagoon and other beautiful hiking spots. Next door to a walking path that was great for walking the dogs. The kitchen made meal prep easy. We would definitely stay again!

We loved staying with Stephanie!
We loved everything about staying in Metchosin and in Stephanie‘s beautiful home. The apartment was above ground, below Stephanie and is really lovely and comfy. Stephanie is an outstanding host and a wonderful person… Available as needed immediately. Her property is spectacular and huge with lovely gardens and a pond with fish and beyond her property is more wildness, which was fabulous. From our doorstep every morning when it wasn’t raining, I could watch the sunrise over the ocean. There were two massive dumps of snow while we were there and because the driveway is very long and very steep got very slippery so on two occasions with separate snow dumps I couldn’t go for a couple of days each time though my husband managed to slide down the hill with the dog and get out for walks. It was also kind of disappointing to not be able to go anywhere, though the apartment was lovely. Thank you again Stephanie for everything..we hope to see you again!

Stefanie was amazing, great host. Loved the place, her property is absolutely beautiful. Was a very relaxing and peaceful stay, our puppy loved her yard. Great place to stay, definitely will book her place again.

Pet friendly
Great place for a couple, and for our dog. Great location especially for golfers. Stephanie was very welcoming. Queen bedroom was very comfy but hide a bed not comfy.

Peaceful and relaxing
Enjoyed the quiet when we returned from visiting family and friends each day. Much preferable to any hotel in an urban setting. Our hostess was very gracious and accomadating. Would definitely stay at Stephanie's in the future.

Perfect
So happy we found this listing and Steph. The unit was very well equiped and modern. This was the most spacious place we have stayed yet. The grounds are beautiful with more then an acre of fenced in land. The location is great with a food store nearby, great hiking trails, and a really good restaurant within walking distance. A nice golf course across the street. The unit stayed cool even in the heat. I would sware she had airconditining. Steph was a great host who answered all our questions and offered wonderful extras. There are blackberries in abundance around the prop. Steph has 2 very friendly, large dogs. Since our dog is not overly friendly with other dogs we had no problem working out a schedule with Steph so our dog could use the yard alone. Steph's place sits high on a hill and the view was to die for. This place had everything. THANK YOU STEPH.

Perfect home
We were up in Victoria for my sons Hockey camp and stayed for a week. The home was perfect for my son & I, clean and well maintained. No stove but honestly I brought our griddle and it was perfect for what we needed. Right across the street from an amazing hike to Witty Beach and a must do if you stay here. Stephanie was a wonderful hostess and was amazing at communication if we had questions

Lovely Host and Perfect Suite
Steph's VRBO exceeded my expectations. She's a lovely host and the suite is wonderful -- it's even in my colours (sapphire blue). It was safe, quiet, and restful with lots of birds and even bunnies! I brought my yellow lab and we managed Steph's dogs and my pups with ease. I loved being able to walk to Witty's Lagoon (beach and trails) every day. This VRBO is between Sooke (20 minutes) and Victoria (7 minutes to Royal Roads/Hatley Castle walks.) Although there is no stove, there is a microwave, induction hot plate, and toaster oven, so no problems cooking. There is a large new Quality Foods a few minute away by car with everything you need, and Japanese take-out about 12 minutes east. One tip for guests. After you open the gate at the bottom of the driveway, drive straight up and turn to the right at the top, then back into the little drive by the suite. I'm terrible in reverse and got the hang of this action pretty quick. Thank you for a lovely and productive stay. I got all my research done AND started writing!

Hidden gem in Metchosin B.C.
We love being so close to the ocean, walking trails, beach, and the golf course across the street. It is away from city noise and you are surrounded by nature. Metchosin Cafe is one of our favorite places to get a good meal and it is also close by. Stephanie is a lovely host and puts up with us Seniors and our Senior Dog. We have been here 2x now and it has been wonderful. So, thank you again Stephanie

Great Place to Stay
The accommodations worked really well for my husband and I as a starting point for seeing different parts of the island. It was spacious for the two of us with a comfortable living room and having laundry and a kitchen was a definite plus, not to mention the walk in closet. The hostess was very easy to communicate with.

Stayed at Stephanie's place for five nights while in the area for my sons wedding. The location was perfect for our purposes. Stephanie is a great host, friendly and available when we needed to talk to her. We loved her dogs too!

Lovely setting for our stay.
We know this area well as we have a spent time here with my daughter and her family. We always rent a place when visiting them from Ontario so this was a lovely spot to stay. We enjoyed the location of the property across from Witty’s Lagoon on the ocean and across the street from a lovely golf course. The location is about a half an hour driving time from downtown Victoria. It was a perfect size with plenty of room for the two of us. We enjoyed the propane stove while watching Netflix in the evening. The owner was gracious and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Metchosin
Over the course of our four week stay we discovered every little cove and inlet around fabulous Metchosin and Victoria. The VRBO is perfectly situated for quiet away from bustle of Victoria, but close enough we could be anywhere in under 30 min. Stephanie is a gracious and responsive host. Her walk out suite is well equipped with all the basics. We found it very clean, well maintained and comfortable. We had a small dog with us and appreciated the "dog friendly" welcome we were given. We look forward to booking again next year. The property will be stunning in the next few weeks as the extensive grounds will all be in full bloom! Thanks Stephanie for a wonderful month away from Alberta winter!

Stayed for a month. The apartment was lovely and very clean. Stephanie had lots of extras, treats, shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap, hand cream etc. Really appreciated the extras.

Stephanie is a lovely host, this is the perfect place to stay in Metchosin. It looks recently renovated, is extremely clean and spacious. Great views, and very centrally located in Metchosin. Would highly recommend!

This suite was absolutely wonderful, so warm and cosy and well appointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would return in an instant should the chance arise. Lovely that my little doggo was welcomed here as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
