Our goal was to find a place for a short weekend getaway near Mabry Mill and Chateau Morrissette, where we could bring our two small dogs so they could be with us instead of having to be boarded. This cabin fit the bill pretty well. Lots of nice amenities as advertised, and a few nice surprises too, like ample bottled water in the fridge, some local apple butter, and treats for the dogs. It is also pretty secluded as advertised... there is one neighboring house a little more nearby than expected, and they were a little loud our first evening, but in fairness it looked like a tree had fallen in their yard and they were working to clear that, so it may have been unavoidable. The A/C keeps the main floor nice and cool but it does get a little toasty upstairs in the bedroom (and, be warned, the bedroom also has a pretty low ceiling in places). Also, there is no WiFi, which they are up front about as it is intended to be a "remote escape" -- but there is also almost no cell service, which was a little more disconnected than we bargained for :) so just be prepared for that. We did not get to make use of the fire pit or other outdoor spaces much, but they looked very nice and well maintained. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
