Peaceful stay at a unique property
We enjoyed our stay at this barn getaway, which consists of a section of the barn converted into living spaces. It is located in a very quiet & peaceful neighborhood, convenient to many nearby attractions. The living spaces had all we needed for a carefree family get-together. Highly recommended! get-together

Perfect stop north of Humboldt
Very nice place! Very clean. Well equipped. Comfortable. The driveway is down a hillside and not very wide. The porch lovely. We were warned on the here are your keys email instructions after booking that NO animals are to be ON furniture with threats of being charged. So hubby slept on couch 2 nights with many blankets so our pup wouldn’t “touch” the furniture or be in the bed. So I was woke up by him pawing at the bedroom door wondering where his mommy is. If you have a spoiled dog like mine keep this in mind. The couch and chair is a very soft leather and can easily be scratched so I understand but knowing this ahead of time may have changed my mind. However again it really is a nice place!

Great Property!
The house is wonderful and was very clean. Room for kids/pets to run and play outside. Nice views. Lots of deer. The only drawback is the 10am checkout. Ive never stayed in a place that had checkout before 11am. Makes the morning feel rushed. Other than that it was great!

Great base for exploring red woods parks.
The location is great and near the 101 hwy. close to grocery stores. The apartment inside the barn is pretty well equipped for cooking, also has a grill outside. Beds are comfortable. WiFi and heating. Owner lives nearby for assistance but you get total privacy. Shower water pressure was incredible. The barn is located near the ocean but also in the fog umbrella area- without the fog the red woods wouldn’t exist- We stayed a week and only saw the sun from the property two days. The yard gets plenty of wildlife visitors but is not for little kids. I have teenagers so I didn’t need to worry but wouldn’t let toddlers roam unattended. Clean and cozy perfect to explore a great national park.

Lovely Place
Staying in a barn sounds odd, but it was definitely a treat. Loved the inside. Everything and more was at your fingertips. Very nicely done. And we enjoyed the privacy.

An absolute treasure!
An absolute gem of a home! We visited with our kids to show them the redwoods and spend time at the beach. The barn was such a special place! We loved having our coffee on the patio looking at the view and watching our kids play soccer in the open field. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend!!!!

Great Accomodations
The place was great. Very comfortable. My one negative comment is that it was too much to ask that we bring the garbage and recycling up to the main house. Isn't this what the cleaning fee is for? It was a great place to stay for our weekend getaway.

Perfect stay in a perfect location
This was an absolutely perfect stay for our family of four. The interior of the barn is very comfortable, looks amazing, and includes all the amenities you need for a weeklong stay. The location is tranquil with a great view of the Arcata area and Pacific in the distance, yet super close to restaurants and sights. We were able to view deer and hummingbirds from the patio in the evening as well. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent!!
I’ve stayed in 3 BNB’s in this area while looking for a permanent place to call home and this one knocks it out of the park! Just as advertised! Beautiful views, peaceful, clean, quiet and to top it off a great host! I totally enjoyed my time at the barn, as did my mother & best friend when they came to visit. If you want peace, privacy, security, and relaxation with beautiful views this is the place! Minutes to shops, restaurants, and beaches! Could not ask for more.
