“Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. My room was lovely, with a view of the Ziller Valley. The way the hotel is designed is really clever, linking up...

“We had a fantastic holiday in Mayrhofen courtesy of the Gluck auf. The suite exceeded our expectations being modern, in great condition, and perfectly equipped. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hotel itself is in a great location on the edge of town which is just a short walk away. There's plenty of inclusive parking. We were greeted by Monika who is a lovely lady and was so helpful. Highly recommended!”

“Great valley location, great food, sauna with a view. Wonderful hotel. No Tyrol vibe though (upscale pricing changes the atmosphere). Dining experience: This hotel has about 4 or 5 dining rooms. Was seated as the only person in one room. Multiple requests for a seating change without result. I actually believe the waitress gave a f*. Went to talk to receptionist, e voila, got a decent table. Somebody also put an extra drink from the bar on my room number. Ok. ”

“The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities.”
