“I liked they were very attentive. The only thing I didn't like is that I was supposed to be picked up at the EBB airport on a Saturday midnight being my first time in Africa and they didn't show up, but I guess it was my fault not to double check before. Overall, a great hotel to stay near the airport!”

“This was a comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast served in a pleasant patio area. Showers worked fine, and sitting outside on the balcony was nice. The location is an easy walk to Victoria Mall or the bus park to get a cheap ride into Kampala.”

“Gately is a quaint hotel that is always enjoyable. The staff are courteous, professional and attentive but not annoying. The facility itself is a bit nostalgic and unique, and along with that comes aging plumbing and electrical supply problems. You will enjoy Gately, particularly the staff, but expect a bit older amenities.”
