The Great: The screened in lanai and open air concept with glass plantation shutters is primo and the highlight to this unit. The lounge chair furnishings are comfortable and newer. It provides a very relaxing space as you hear waves crashing in the distance (during winter months) and nonstop singing of tropical birds. Very tranquil. The beach nearby is nice, too but has limited shade.
The OK: The kitchen is not high-end, but is functional. The tiled countertops is reminiscent of the 1990’s. There are lots of kitchen gadgets, but no manuals how to use them. It was a bit much and pretty disorganized for this tiny kitchen. The bedsheets were worn and scratchy, and the bath mats definitely need to be replaced. The front door is difficult to unlock and open due to its age, seemed rusty. The WiFi went out our last couple days, it happens. Cell service is weak to nonexistent, which without wifi may be an issue for some.
The Bad: We saw and killed a cockroach running across the kitchen counter. We notified management so hopefully they can do something about this. The upstairs bathroom cabinet door randomly fell off its hinge and onto my toe while I was brushing my teeth. That was pretty painful and unexpected. The smoke alarm went off like 6 times every time we tried heating up the oven. It went off once when using toaster too. The kitchen drawers are in need of deep cleaning. Crumbs and grime, pretty gross. There’s a portion of road getting to this place that’s really rough, tons of potholes. Also, any type of dining, gas, and decent grocery shopping is 30 minutes drive from this condo complex. This may be issue for some.
There’s lots of room for improvement, but this place has great potential. Hope this helps!
