Pray Nothing Goes Wrong
I arrived at the property on one of the hottest days of the year and when I tried to turn on the AC I couldnt get it to work. I called the owner Scott, who unapologetically told me the air conditioner was broken and it would be fixed "next week." He made no effort to notify my of the problem, bring in a portable AC ot do anything else other than to stick me with it. I told him I would not stay in a unit without AC and his attitude was tough, "you have a contract." I told him I was not staying and I wanted my money back and he said "No refunds" and "you owe me", meaning he wanted me to pay the remaining balance. I left the property and told him I would challenge it with VRBO to get my money back which I did. Over the next 3 days he resorted to bargaining "you can have a week in the fall", gaslinghtimg

Disappointing stay at our favorite beach
The property had a fantastic view of the ocean but the amenities were not the greatest. There is visible mold on the ceiling in the main room of the house. The air conditioning was not functioning and the property manager did not treat the issue with a sense of urgency. The air conditioner was a major factor in our decision to rent this cottage as we were traveling with our 5 month old son. Gas tank for the grill was empty upon on our arrival and was not replaced until the next day. Overall it was a disappointing stay for our first family vacation.

Very nice property. Beautiful view The only thing there was mold up on the ceiling in the living room and the Bed was really high and very difficult to get into

The home was in a beautiful location with easy access to Boston. The beach was peaceful and had amazing views of the sunrise. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the waves. Thanks for a great place to stay.

Great experience!
Can't beat the location and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we've ever slept on! There wasn't a kettle (so keep that in mind if you're tea drinkers like us), but the property was wonderful otherwise.

Our BEST stay yet!
This is our 4th visit to the area. We've rented other larger properties within Maushop Village as well as over on the finger streets. This was by FAR our most FAVORITE stay. Though smaller than we're used to, the high ceilings and the layout were perfection. This property was fully stocked in every way, From AC, to a perfect waterfront view and mere steps to the beach. There were chairs and a beach cart as well as an umbrella. We needed nothing. Already thinking about next summer! Also, thank you Scott for being so responsive!

Excellent Beach Cottage
If you want a beautiful ocean view, to stay just steps away from a private beach, and access to convenient amenities, this is the place! Our family spent the week at the Cape in this property and it was everything we needed. New Seabury is a gorgeous place in the Summer and doesn’t disappoint.

A Wonderful Stay!
My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cottage. It was very clean and tidy. Everything looked as pictured and the description of the cottage was spot on. There is a path to the private beach practically outside the front door of the cottage. The Market Place is also just a short walk away or a 2 minute drive. It was a great atmosphere for my husband and I as well as my two kids in the evening. I would highly recommend this cottage to any family looking to stay in a quaint community with the beach and entertainment close by.

Everything we needed
The property was exactly as described. Close to the beach in a quaint quiet community of homes. The bed was especially comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. A great place to come home to after full days of sightseeings. Would recommend to friends and visit again.

Great location but terrible experience
This was the first vacation we took as a family with our baby. When we arrived the whole unit was dirty and had not been cleaned. The host gave no apology and was unable to get the unit cleaned that night. He sounded put off that we were even staying there and offered no compensation, not even a refund of the cleaning fee. Unfortunately as it was Saturday evening during the summer on the Cape, we couldn’t find alternative accommodations with a baby. We had to take out the trash, launder the bath towels, beach towels and bed sheets, wipe down the kitchen, scrub the toilet and bathtub, and sweep floors. It was a disgusting and exhausting way to start our vacation.

Fantastic location and beautiful neighbhorhood in Mashpee
We loved the location and proximity to the private neighborhood beach from this property! The outside patio was super inviting and quaint. The bed was moderately comfortable, but a bit tight in the master bedroom (no closet). Bathroom tub and sink drains were slow to drain. There was no laundry detergent, hairdryer, basic cooking necessities - had to buy a few extra items at the local grocery store. No early/late check-in or check-out available. Despite the few details mentioned above, we loved the neighborhood and quaintness of the cottage on the ocean! We will be back again!

Best cottage at the beach
We truly enjoyed this spacious, clean and perfectly quaint cottage! The water views from the dining table, the bedrooms, as well as the patio were amazing! The cottage was very clean and was spacious for a family of 4. The walk to the beach was so close and we loved using the outdoor shower. Highly recommend renting from Scott!

Perfect Little Cottage
This was a well appointed, very clean, cute little cottage. It was just perfect for our week. Very close to a neighborhood beach. Great ocean views (much better than the listing photos). Close to good food and shopping and an easy drive to other parts of the Cape.

Wonderful stay
The location of the house was the best part, just a short walk to a private beach, with calm waters. Our younger kids ages 4 and 6 were able to swim in the ocean. The house was just as depicted, very clean, new bathroom. I would definitely come back.

Super Close to Ocean
Great location to the beach, sunsets, and tranquility. This is a small but very well laid out unit. Would definitely stay here again. Picture perfect view of the ocean from the kitchen table and from the outside patio. Private access to a beach right outside the front door. Also great paths for walking or running nearby.

Glorious Lication
