“Such a disappointment! House looked totally different from the photos. To start with, paint peeling off the front shutters and the door was spray-painted maroon, with an air conditioning unit duck-taped into the upper left-hand dormer window. Inside, furniture was beyond fixer-upper (I’m ok with IKEA, but not with disgusting old furniture with sunken-in cushions). The kitchen stove does not ever appear to have been cleaned (yuck!!). “The house is amazing. Owner has done a terrific renovation. A couple of issues: the stairs are the originals, evidently, and way too steep for seniors to safely navigate. And the master bedroom mattress really needs to be turned or maybe replaced. We struggled to get comfortable. But kitchen works well. Location is fantastic. There is a lot to recommend this property for the right renters.”
