“Wayside Inn in Ellicott City, MD is a beautiful 18th century home. The owner / host is great. We stayed on the third floor. Even though it is very close to a freeway, we were not bothered by any noise. The food was delicious. Our group of three had a small separate dining room to ourselves. The home is charming and full of period pieces, but bathrooms have been modernized and the beds were very comfortable. This was much more fun than being in a hotel. Definitely worth checking out. ”

“If you’re in DC this is a great place to stay. I don’t know how six people could stay but 5 fit fine and the location is great. Safe area, close to everything in the city and has historic value itself. I’d definitely stay here again. ”

“Stayed here with my wife and toddler for two nights. It had everything we needed and was walkable to everything in Capitol Hill. Parking was easy enough as well. Host was very responsive and accommodating as well. ”

“We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm. ”

“Was a fine experience.”

“The managers were super responsive, check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a short stay. Located near a lot of important landmarks, and not far from the Capitol, Wharf or the airport. I noticed folks in the neighborhood were also kind, alert and helpful.”

“Our vacation at the apartment is more a staycation because we live across the river eight miles away. The apartment is in the heart of Georgetown and at the center of student life. It so conveniently adapts to whatever mood you’re in during your visit. ”
