“We could not have asked for a more perfect place for our stay. We are 65+ and traveling with a 14yo dog. The host actually moved us to a different place with less stairs when she saw the ages. We were within walking distance of so many wonderful shops and the recommendations she gave us were amazing. We had a very relaxing evening on the small patio and the the beds were so comfortable! Accommodations were exactly as described and the hosts replied to any messages immediately. My only regret...

“The unit was very clean and well supplied. Communication with the owner was great. The location was close to activities, but lots of noise late at night on the street. The stairs were pretty steep, and I’m a little “heights challenged”. My suggestion would be if you’re going as a couple, pack two smaller bags vs one large one. All in all, a pretty good experience.”

“Apartment was as advertised. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It was nicely stocked with towels and washcloths. It’s located in a very nice quiet area not a lot of street traffic. Plenty of parking in the back. We visited the Hermann Wineries. Great place to stay it’s a 30 minute drive to Hermann. We enjoyed our stay. 😊”

“The location was lovely.. the lightening bugs, the night air and sounds, the people, the river.. Fantastic! BUT.....It would have been great to have a few more kitchen things like paper towels and more plates and maybe a better pan. It was set up more for drinking than eating, but I get it. It was just a bit hard to make meals. Other than that... A+! Thank you.”

“The place is pretty but the electricity situation was ridiculous. 2 days of cold showers because circuit breaker kept tripping. We had to turn off lights and air so the circuit would stay on. The maintenance guy was very kind and polite. He did all he could do at the moment to remedy the problem to no avail. Smelled very moldy. Food was good downstairs, great staff at the restaurant. The people and location are nice. The electricity problems caused a lot of inconvenience, cold showers sucked.”

“We we're intown for college baseball in O'Fallon at the Carshield Field. Quick 15 minute drive. Quiet nights and very comfortable accommodations. Morning were a bit busy outside, school buses on there routes. Overall enjoyed the little house.”

“Great little place to stay. Clean inside and out. The host was great and had good communication. We stay in all weekend. You can to but you’ll just have to plan for food accordingly as there is no stove or oven. We were prepared so we were good! Only downs of the place is that it is close to the main road so you hear road noise but it’s not terrible. Also the cabin is on the host’s property it’s very near their other cabins rental. But it was isolated enough that it didn’t bother us. ...

“We stayed two nights and the cabin was great. We knew there wasn't a kitchen,so brought a cooler with food to make on the charcoal grill. Everything we needed to cook outside was provided for. Inside there is a hot plate and pots and pans. Microwave and toaster. The mini fridge held some of out food and the rest stayed cold in our cooler. The deck with chairs, table and a gas fire pit was nice to sit around when it cooled off at night. The cabin was15 minutes from a couple of Katy Trail...
