“We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. The view out the numerous windows and doors in the back towards Holmes Bay is spectacular. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend.”
