The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. ”

“Pateley Bridge is such a lovely town. Our accommodations were perfect for our family of 5! The home was appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We had an issue with a tripped switch and power outage and the owners were very helpful and prompt is helping us address the issue, which we were so grateful for. Cooked breakfast was good, my only advice would be to give an option on egg cooking method. The current managers are working hard to improve the hotel and we wish them success with this. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Hawes. ”

When we arrived, the cottage was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The location is great for exploring the area.
