Amazing week in the mountains!
We had a really great time at this property, it was exactly as we expected and more. The listing description is perfect, it’s on top of a mountain, with steep curvy road to get there. You need to come prepared food wise as it’s a good 20 mins or so to a grocery store. But so well worth it. The views are incredible !! You just can’t say it or look at them enough. The house is beautiful, nicely decorated with games and a pool table along with a fire pit and hot tub to keep you busy while at home. I really appreciated the added touch of the paper products provided, some basic cooking supplies as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers. The communication with Elliott was excellent. He checked in on us, responded to all questions in a timely manor and was very helpful. There is so much to explore in the area from hikes, white water rafting, mining for gems, Asheville and not too far from Dollywood. All in all I would say 5 stars for sure!! Highly recommend if this is the type of property you are looking for. Excellent!!
Also, we had a bit of food left over that we couldn’t take on the plane. There is a church called Ebbs Chapel at the base of the hill on your way to 26. They have a food bank and clothing bank open on Saturdays. She graciously accepted our unopened and some opened bags of food. Once again, super great vacation.
