Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. “Over 140+ 5 Star reviews spoke true with our visit. The narrow road to and from the rental was reason for a giggle. Vivienne and Richard were incredibly sweet and fantastic hosts... Who can not be happy when they love to do chores to Bruce Springsteen? The rental was comfortable, very cozy, private and perfect. Everyone had mentioned the delicious lemon drizzle cake and loaf of bread... Absolutely delicious. I want the recipe Vivienne lol. We couldn't take the rest with us due to us flying...

“Stayed with a group of cycling friends, some from up north, some from London. This is a great location as it sits nicely in the middle. Also the local countryside makes for excellent cycling with lovely little villages and great pubs. The house was perfect for us and We had a fantastic weekend. ”

Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

“We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. “The apartment was amazing, what a gem! Issue was the linens and bedding, there were not enough sheets, blankets, and pillows to properly set up the sofa beds and what was available very worn out. Tre did advise that the fridge freezer was a little noisy and suggested it be turned off at night which we did however the water recycling system was a little noisy too but other than that, an excellent stay.
