We enjoyed our stay but there are things you should know
The property itself is very nice and is well furnished. The pool area is very large and the hot tub is great. There is plenty of room for seating both inside and out. The home itself is located in a quiet area and has a great canal exposure. It is also very near to an area with gopher tortoises and we would see them coming out of their holes almost every day. The interior of the house is quiet large and there is plenty of room for a good sized family.
However, there are some requirements for staying that are not communicated in the listing. For example, you may not lower the AC below 72 degrees. For people coming from the north, this is too high for sleeping. I would have been fine with just being able to lower it at night but this kept people from sleeping well. Additionally, it is not disclosed that you need to wash all the sheets and towels or at least only have two loads for left for the staff. This is not adequate in a 4 bedroom home that sleeps 8 or more. I am almost positive this led to us sleeping on sheets that were dirty the first night as the previous occupants likely tried to jam too much into the washing machine and the sheets didn't fully get cleaned.
