"Decal and the Jets"
The unit at Riverside was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offering a peaceful view of the river. It is exactly as pictured! There were only a few issues with the complex itself. Number one is that the third floor elevator did not work and the lone luggage trolley was rickety. So getting to our third floor unit was not as smooth as expected.
Number two: we had to buy a parking decal for $30 at the complex's office which was no big deal, but we were not aware of it until we checked in. Furthermore the decal itself had to be placed exactly on the passenger side headlight or else access to parking was denied. We had to get another decal on Monday since the first one did not work. This was an annoyance that put a damper on our first few days at Riverside. The heated pool was lovely especially since the weather was cool for February. Number three: the hot tub was also pleasant but it only timed for 5 minutes rather than the 15 normally programmed for jets. That meant that to enjoy the hot tub, one had to either get in and out of it or hope a sunbather nearby would turn the dial for activating the jets. Residents and guests at the pool and elsewhere were very friendly and nice! Overall we had a pleasant week at Riverside in Old Marco!
